This week in Mexico 4-18-24
Here’s a glimpse of our week of outreaches in Mexico.

A kitchen for Arelis!
You’ll remember our last project before Dinora, was a home for Arelis and her three kids. She now has a kitchen! A friend came to Mexico and helped us build and install a kitchen for Arelis!
The scope of each project is always determined through prayer, and often, the Lord prompts people in our group to do even more than we plan or expect! That’s the case with this kitchen! We always begin with the bare-bones priorities. For this widowed mom of three, she was in desperate need of a dry, safe roof over her head. The Lord often goes even further than we expect, and it’s so fun to be a part of His gifts! Thank you so much for being a part of this with us. Each prayer and gift is so needed and so appreciated.
We had a little helper overseeing the install ♥
At this point, the sink hadn’t been delivered yet, and it was getting late. So we got the drawers installed and called it a night. Right afterward, the kids moved their stuff on the counters and wanted to fill the drawers. Their first kitchen!
And here it is the next day! We installed the sink and faucet and then the rest of the doors. Then we moved in her stove, which was donated before, and Arelis now has a cute little functioning kitchen! Also, look at the amazing view from her kitchen window!
Back at Dinora’s House
We are getting so close to Dinora and her two kids moving in!
This week, we’re getting paint on the walls, inside and out, and finishing details for plumbing, electricity, and the bathroom.

Grocery order delivered and packed up
Each month, we receive a large bulk order of grocery and household staples to bring to families in need. After the big delivery, we spend a day packing bags for each family.
Rice, beans, flour, oil, toilet paper, and soap! With these families can make tortillas and have rice and beans. When we can, we also include any nonperishables on sale, like shelf-stable milk, tomato paste, and pasta.
