This week in Mexico 6-6-25
Here’s a glimpse of our week of outreaches in Mexico.

Groceries
We packed up bags of essential groceries for each family! We include rice, beans, flour, oil, toilet paper, shelf-stable milk, and rotating non-perishable items on sale! Ingredients for families to make the most important foods here of rice, beans, and tortillas. Often, we can include some pasta as well and some broth powder for soup.

Israel Project House
Our guys are still working hard, plastering the inside before moving to the outside. As soon as we have the spaces for windows ready, we can measure for windows and get those ready. I’m really excited about this because each night when the crew is done, they put plywood over the stair opening to secure their home below. Until we have the windows in it’s fully open to critters (and possibly humans)!
Our Roof Project
After the fires demolished eight homes, several local people with construction experience reached out and said if we could help with materials, they could donate their time. And so these volunteers have been helping us, which lets us do these two projects at once! We have one more area to cover before we can pour the roof for them!
Our kids group—Escuelita
Many schools in the US are out for the summer, and our kids in India have just ended their summer break, but we still have another month here in Mexico to prepare for summer break!
Many of you know our volunteer, Olga. Her sister Cristina, also volunteers with our Escuelita. She makes amazing piñatas, and helped the kids make little ones!
