It’s my youngest sister’s birthday today, and we will celebrate later with tamales! I’m so excited to share this week’s outreaches with you! ♥
Update on Jaqui!
Our big praise this week here is that Jaqui had her surgery and it was successful! We think she’ll be released today and we are praying for her recovery. It was a big operation and it’s just the beginning of her treatment. But each step in this we have seen the Lord moving and guiding us and we are stopping this weekend to sit in praise and gratitude. Thank you so much for praying with us! (you can get caught up here if you’re new!)
Our escuelita – kids group
In our kids group, they are soaking up the last two weeks before school starts on the 29th! Next week we’ll focus on getting uniforms and school supplies sorted. Thank you so much to all of you who have written to sponsor a kid’s uniform! Each uniform is $30 (USD). Education has always been a priority in our outreaches, because education is critical to help families out of generational poverty. I always loved back to school time, with the new notebooks and pens and pencils!
