This week in the new village 7-11-20
This new outreach is such a blessing. It’s like going back in time, to when we first met the villages that became our children’s church! Before they knew Jesus and were treated with love and kindness. Before they knew they had been created in the image of God and full of worth and dignity. I am humbled by the enormity of this task. This village doubles all our current outreaches here! We can’t do any of this without God. And I can’t wait to see how beautifully the Lord showers love on every one of them.

Bringing groceries to the new village
Please keep this new village in your prayers. It’s His kindness that draws us to Jesus. After receiving love both in being treated with dignity and in practical service, people begin to wonder why. They’ve been asking and our volunteer has had the great joy to tell them how much Jesus loves them. The answer is always Jesus. We love because He first loved us. Pray with us that all in this village will come to know His love and be transformed in it.
This week, we brought rice, lentils, cooking oil, and other non-perishables this week. Next week we will bring fresh produce.
Here, a little brother is helping his sister load the large bag onto her head to carry it. It weighs more than she does!
It’s so hot here that we had to get creative to share some of the pics!
This mom showed our volunteers where they cook! Next to the kitchen, the kids have set up a mud kitchen. I remember doing this when I was little, and Aidan did it when he was little too. I love that kids are kids all over the world.
This little one is excited to show where they will store their food!
