Is it necessary to say ‘In Jesus’ name I pray’ throughout the day as we have these little conversations with God? Not long prayers, but with words here and there as we think of someone to pray for or maybe a little later we think of something else we want to talk with God about. I pray a lot during the day, just little chats, but sometimes I forget to say ‘In Jesus’ name I pray, and I wonder if God hears my prayers if I do not go through Jesus.
In Gen 1:27, it says God created them in His image, both male and female. That is confusing because it sounds as if God is both male and female in spirit. Is God both male and female?
I just want to tell you I’ve learned so much from your site! Thank you for your time.
Can you explain to us what Psalm 82 is referring to when it states in verse 1, he gives judgment among the GODS? Also, who is God talking to in verse 7 and 8 when the Bible states, I said you are GODS you are all sons of the Most High. But you will die like mere MEN you will fall like every other RULER?
Sounds like maybe Angelic beings that actually were given something to rule over. But where and when were they ruling? Now this is an interesting Psalm!
I’ve been answering questions from so many people for so long that I sometimes forget not everyone who comes to the site has read all of them. As a case in point, I answered a question about the flood where I said it was the second in a series of seven times where mankind would violate the terms of an agreement with God and bring judgment upon themselves.
It’s official! We’ve begun a Children’s Church for the tribe we’ve been serving in India. Our Spring Bible School outreach was such a success, the tribe asked us to keep coming every week to minister to the children. After much prayer, we’re moving forward!
