Thanks again for all the effort you put into this site. I have two questions regarding the first chapter of Zechariah. It referenced a red horse and several white horses behind it that had been sent out to patrol the earth. The reference in my Bible said that correlated with Revelation, however that doesn’t seem to mesh with what the red horse is in Revelation and the fact that there were several white horses doesn’t mesh with Revelation at all.

The best I can think of is that according to the Mahdi line of thinking as a candidate for Antichrist I know there have been several Muslim leaders, including Saddam, who possessed a white horse in case they should be raised up as Al Mahdi. I was just wondering if these horses are in fact one in the same. Also, I was wondering who are the four horns?

Where do you find out what the meaning of numbers are? Such as the number 7 being perfection and 4 being creation? I am curious to know what other numbers mean. Can you tell me?

I have two questions: Who are we to deserve such a sacrifice as Jesus made for us? And, why will Jesus have those scars for all eternity? How sad it will be to those who are redeemed beholding the King of Glory with scars on His hands and feet because of our sins.

In regards to the Ask a Bible Teacher post on The Keys to Hell, I found a verse in Col 2:15. It states: “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” I understand some bible experts say this means that after Jesus died, He went into Hell and exerted his authority and dominance.

Did Jesus descend into hell after he was crucified? Where in the Bible does it refer to Jesus taking the keys to hell from Satan?

Could you explain the story of the shrewd servant in Luke 16:1-8? I have never been able to understand this.

What does 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, also 1Corinthians 15:50-54, really mean when it says “Believers who have died will have their bodies resurrected, and along with believers who are still living will meet with the Lord.” Could you explain to me what that scripture really is trying to tell us? It makes me believe that believers body’s/spirit are kept somewhere other than heaven until the rapture.

In Matthew 27:52-53 it says that at the time of Jesus’ death, there was an earthquake and the “bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life”. It says that they “came out of their tombs and after Jesus’ resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people” Who were these holy people and where did they go? Did they ‘hang around’ town until Jesus came back to life and then go into heaven with him or did they die again and go back to their tombs?

I have heard that Jesus cast out seven demons from Mary Magdalene. If so what were they? Also, my sister read that when Jesus was being whipped before his crucifixion that he was given 40 lashes less one. Do you know why it was worded that way? Why not just say 39 lashes?
