I am very confused. Will the thousand year millennium be on earth or in Heaven. If in Heaven will not the earth be dark and desolate for 1000 years?

I read your article yesterday, What Is Sin. It was amazing! I agree with you 100%.

My question to you though is about churches in our times now. We appear to have become very tolerant of sin in people who call themselves Christians and members of our churches. I see so many who regularly attend but who continue to live in sin with boyfriends (for years and years and continue doing it). That is just one example but I think you know what I mean.

You are dead-on right about judging others but are we also supposed to hold one another accountable? I read an article on the Drudge Report tonight about a church in Jacksonville, Florida who are using 18:17 to announce the sins of a particular woman in their congregation to the entire church. It seems a bit rough to me because where does grace fall into any of this? I think there is a fine line between grace and tolerance. What I’m seeing more and more are congregations of people coming to play church and not devoting themselves to the obedience of Jesus Christ. (yes, believe me, no one knows better than me about the plank in my own eye).

I guess what I’m asking is how do we call our churches back to obedience? It seems to me that we have a form of Godliness but lack the power thereof. I fear for the church in these times. Thank you for all your hard work and insight into the word of God. My question concerns the one who sat on the throne in Revelation 5:7. Jesus said in John 4:24, “God is a Spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”. I have always wondered about Rev. 5:7 and have never had an interpretation that I could fully grasp. A spirit is like the wind, you can’t see the wind but you can see the effects of the wind. So would this not indicate that a spirit can’t be seated on a literal throne. It would seem to me that it be would Jesus seated on the throne in his resurrected body. In Mathew 28: 18 Jesus said “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth”. Could this some how be what revelation chapter 5 and verse 7 is referring to? Thank you in advance for your answer.

My question is this. If Adam and Eve were the first to bear children, and we have Jew and Gentile, where did the separation of Jew and Gentile take place? Who started the Gentile nation or people? I. E. Israel and foreigner?

What is the purpose of the Millennium? To prove man cannot/will not live without rebelling against God? I thought that everybody, God included, already knows that.

Last Sunday at church the worship leader was leading us in prayer and mentioned something to the effect that “God is not mad at you” It got to me to thinking…Does God get mad at believers who willfully and deliberately want to stay in their sin?

Why does God allow the enemy to inhibit, prevent, stall, interrupt, interfere with, His work on Earth. Paul mentioned that he had wanted to go somewhere but the devil had stopped him. Why does God allow this?

I’m having difficulty reconciling John 3:14-15 with John 6:44, and I would appreciate your insight.

I don’t believe there was ever a time in my life that I wasn’t saved, and I was baptized at the age of 21. However, I have had a lot of disappointments in life. Now am I supposed to believe that my faith isn’t good enough to have lots of riches. That’s what you have been saying. I know I am not supposed to have great riches, because I don’t have any. God, for some reason doesn’t want me to have great wealth. What I do have is enough. My faith is exactly what it should be. That much I know. I am exactly where I should be, going through exactly what I am going through. Does there have to be a reason some people fail in life? And if Satan is in control of the earth, why does anything good happen?

Can you please teach me on the understanding of Ephesians chapter 4 vs. 17-20. What is said there is very disturbing. Am i taking this out of context?

I was curious to know if the Church will become God’s Government in Eternity. It seems to make a lot of sense since we are His Body. Also I wanted to know about the verse which speaks about us seated with Christ in Heaven. Is this verse saying we are actually at this point in time sitting with Jesus in spirit form in Heaven or that it will be at a later time in the future, or is this current or future recognition of our position with Christ in the spirit realm.

Re: the word “might”. This word is used in some versions of the Bible as in,’that through Him we MIGHT be saved.’ There are many other examples, i.e. ‘that we MIGHT become the Sons of God’, etc. What is the exact meaning in these instances of the use of this word? Many believers that I know think that it God is saying that these are not solid promises because might, to them, means ‘MAYBE, or it’s possible, but that it is not a sure thing. How to explain??

In John 16:33 Jesus said we will have tribulation in this world, but to be of good cheer or courage because He has overcome the world. I have to say I’m not real sure exactly what Jesus meant when He said this. I know in my head there is nothing more powerful than God or Jesus and that He always has the final say when it comes to anything in the world. But how are we supposed to be of good cheer concerning pain and suffering?

Thanks for a wonderful site. Please explain or give your view on the verses in the above mentioned Scripture regarding sins not leading to death, sins leading to death and more specifically verse 18.

How does God decide which prayers to answer? I’m sure lots of them run against one another. For example, let’s say there’s a 50% chance of rain in the forecast for the weekend. A local farmer sees this and prays desperately for rain. It’s been hot all summer long and his crops are wilting. If he doesn’t get this downpour, the harvest will be a failure and he’ll have to sell his farm, which is his only livelihood.

At the same time, a local family sees the forecast and gets worried. They have finally managed to organize a long-overdue reunion, including relatives they probably won’t see again due to age and health issues. This family prays desperately that the rain will hold off so the reunion will take place. I’m sure opposing prayers take place all the time. How does God choose which ones to grant?

I’m writing to you today because my family is being hit so very hard by trial after trial, in literally every facet of our lives. Wave after wave hits us, and there is no sign of this letting up any time soon. We’re frustrated, tired, and honestly- troubled. I have been clinging to the peace that only Jesus can give, but when I read John 14:27 today, it was the second half of the verse that gave me pause. “Let not” and “neither let” imply that we have a choice in this when our hearts are troubled. Can you tell me how to not allow my heart to be troubled?

I have a weird question of sorts. Normally we say that we can’t tell if someone is truly saved. Can we say anything about the O.T personalities? Like could we say that David, Moses or the Prophets were saved for sure or should we even assume? I was just curious about that.

Thank you for your sound Biblical advice and teachings. My question is regarding preparing for the future primarily in the areas of economic collapse and persecution. What should we be doing? Stocking piling food, moving our investments in to gold and silver, buying land so we can farm, etc. Others say don’t be concerned because the church will be with the Lord. So what is the biblical balance? What would the Lord say to us at this time in history?
