The Inspiration Of Scripture

Published: July 12, 2015
Q

Re: Inspiration of Scripture.  We often hear people claiming this confidently but is there really a verse that really claims that the entire Bible is the word of God?   2 Tim. 3: 16 speaks along those lines but to me it refers more to Old Testament scriptures rather than all other scriptures, because much 0f the New Testament hadn’t been written yet. What are your views on this?

Are There Saints Who Aren’t In The Church?

Published: July 12, 2015
Q

I have always thought the anti-Christ’s war against the saints in Daniel’s 70th Week would concern gentiles that come to know Christ after the rapture.   But could that scripture also apply to Jews that come to know Christ after the rapture? Will Jews also be called ‘saints’ if they accept Christ after the rapture or is this a term reserved for Gentile believers? Or reserved for the church only? If it’s reserved for the church only that means a pre-trib rapture is not possible as the A/C will be battling the church ‘saints’.

According to Hebrews 9, Jesus ministry was part of the Old Testament until His death on the cross. So in your opinion where does the New Testament begin?

Visiting The New Jerusalem

Published: July 11, 2015
Q

Realizing that there may be husbands or wives left behind that did not accept Christ before the Rapture, does that mean if one spouse accepts Christ and is raptured and the mate accepts Him in the Trib, that they will not be together in the Millennium because the mate cannot go to the New Jerusalem?  If so, there are surely going to be big regrets in the Trib when they realize they missed it.

Persecution Before The Rapture

Published: July 11, 2015
Q

Persecution of Christians seems to be happening more and more. Do you think we will experience persecution (bodily harm) and death in America as is true in China, India, Iran, and various places in the middle East before the Rapture? A number of prophecy people think we should prepare for serious suffering and even death by beheading. Would you please tell us your thoughts about persecution?

Adam’s Age. Follow Up

Published: July 11, 2015
Q

I was wondering if there is any Biblical reference to Adam’s age upon creation? Paintings always show Adam as an adult (around 30 years old). I know these are just paintings from someone’s imagination, but it got me wondering.   Any insight is appreciated.

Can We Really Forget?

Published: July 9, 2015
Q

Our Father forgives and forgets! Is it possible for us to forget ? While working for the Lord I didn’t realize attacks were tests or oppression. I was naive and submitted all the time. I have been told over and over that it’s my fault.  All this and a marriage of 33 years lies behind. To forget these things that stopped my ministry and marriage is not easy to do.  I don’t  want to take your time with a long letter and at the same time remind myself of all the details. I just want to know if it’s possible to forget them.

Lake Of Fire Forever?

Published: July 9, 2015
Q

Satan, his minions and followers will all end up in the lake of fire forever and ever. Assuming that spiritual beings will not burn up as flesh and bone bodies would this sounds absolutely terrible. A thought came to me when I came to Rev. 21:5.  “See I make all things new.” There will be a new heaven and a new earth, the old will disappear in fire.

As hell and Satan were part of the current creation which will be destroyed and the new creation will be perfect I assume that there cannot be a hell or anything evil in it. So my question is – will hell and its contents end at the end of the 1000 years as that creation will then end?
