Fighting Against Anger

Published: February 22, 2024
Q

Sometimes I feel like such a spiritual mess. I try hard to not let people bother me. I am doing a lot better than I used to because I try to think “eternal perspective, eternal perspective”. It usually helps, but sometimes I mess up and get so MAD!!! I sometimes think that when the Rapture comes, I will still be standing in the same spot because I was only fooling myself that I was saved. I have read your articles on OSAS, but that thought still creeps in. I plan to read the Bible specifically regarding temper and anger. Is there a certain verse that I could memorize and try to say in my mind, whenever people get to be too much?

Above All, Don’t Worry

Q

My husband just lost his (very good) job and now we worry about our finances. I pray for more faith to believe God knows my needs and will provide and I do believe the rapture is very soon in coming.. If my husband doesn’t find work to provide for us soon is this Satans will or Gods? In other words, who is in control of the earth right now, God or Satan?

Tempted, But Without Sin

Published: February 21, 2024
Q

We all know that Jesus was born of a virgin so that He would not be born in sin, like the rest of us. My question is this, If Jesus was not capable of sinning, why does the Bible say that, “He was tempted in all points as we are, yet without sin?” It also says, Jesus is our example. But He was not able to sin. And if this is true, why did the devil bother tempting Him?

Atonement For Sins

Q

I have read with interest several questions and answers concerning the resumption of animal sacrifices during the millennium. Your Bible references make perfect sense even though Christ has forever atoned for our sins on the cross. My question is what do Jews do now for the forgiveness of sin? There hasn’t been any animal sacrifice since the temple was destroyed so how do they presume to have their sins covered today?

Commentary On Matt. 11:11-19

Q

I just can’t believe how sparse dispensational commentary data is! Everywhere I look on-line I see replacement theology. I have a Bible Study I teach weekly and currently Matthew is our topic. Would you please provide your commentary regarding Matthew 11:11-19?

According To The Lord’s Own Word

Q

I wonder about this wording in 1st Thes. 4:15. “For this I say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the the coming of the Lord … ” Is Paul referring here to teaching in the scriptures or to personal teaching which he received from the Lord?

Can you please help me understand Colossians 2:20 – 23? I would love for you to share with me your teaching on it.

Have Our Future Sins Already Been Forgiven?

Published: February 19, 2024
Q

I recently read an article that claimed the Bible offers no proof that our future sins are forgiven. It says this is just an assumption that Eternal Security advocates have made. It says if that was the case we wouldn’t need Jesus to be our advocate (lawyer), and that Romans 3:24-25 proves that only our past sins were forgiven. I’ve thought of Colossians 2:13-14 “He forgave us all our sins …” as a rebuttal. Are there others?

Her Cross To Bear?

Q

My grandmother is in a hospital right now in the last stages of alzhiemers. The doctors have said all they can do is comfort her. She can no longer do anything on her own. She can’t even hold a conversation anymore. But the other day she said something that I’ll never ever forget. She said, “Help me God… Help me off my cross to bear.” I need you please, to explain to me what exactly she was saying.

The First Shall Be Last

Can you explain what “the first shall be last and the last shall be first” means and why is it that way? It doesn’t make sense to me.
