I was discussing the rapture with some other guys. One of them said that (regarding 1 Thes. 4) there’s a shout and a trumpet, so how could the rapture be secret if there’s such a big fanfare right before it happens? Second, they said that John 14:2-3 could just as easily mean that we come back to earth to the New Creation in Rev. 21. It seems to me that there is a bunch of stuff being skipped over for that interpretation to work. Your thoughts?

I know a lot of people think there may be a gap of time between the rapture and the start of the 70th week. My question is under which dispensation would this period of time be under?

Concerning the locusts in Revelation 9:4: “They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.”(NIV) Does this instruction to the locusts only apply to the 144,000 from the twelve tribes of Israel who receive the mark on their foreheads in Chapter 7? And does God still seal the new believers after the Rapture?

If and when Israel strikes Iran, there are going to be numerous friends asking me where this fits into bible prophecy and what will happen next. Can Satan indwell a person? How is it that Satan indwelled the King Tyre? Is this a conflict in Scripture?

Our pastor is doing a Q&A on Sunday nights, answering questions that have been anonymously submitted by church members. Most of the questions pertain to end times. Being an a-millennialist, he started the Q&A tonight by saying that some people study end times too much, and that it’s very unhealthy to do so. I know that many seminaries have moved toward an allegorical approach to scripture, but why do some pastors seem so irritated with people that hold to a pre-trib view? I mean how can studying prophecy be unhealthy?

I have a question about the Q&A the other day “Married or Not? ” Did you mean that all marriages in the world that don’t involve a believer are not approved by God? Since God began marriage in Genesis for many good reasons, like being the foundation of society, and the best way to have and raise children, wouldn’t He be glad people are making use of His good idea even if they aren’t saved?

Our country was blessed when living by God’s principles even though most of the people weren’t saved. Doesn’t 1 Cor. 7:14 mean that the unsaved one in the marriage, and the children are set apart for some blessings from the Lord because there is a saved person in the family praying for them and being a testimony to them?

I’ve only just now heard of the Bilderbergers and their theorized attempts to enact a world government. Should I view this group and other groups that have the same intent as sinister groups automatically? Are we as believers urged by Scripture to not aide or engage attempts to unite the world?
