Rapture? What Rapture?

Published: June 7, 2014 (Originally published: June 6, 2014)
Q

If a person does not believe in the rapture, but loves the Lord undeniably, is that person taken at the time of the rapture or are they left behind to endure the tribulation?

Will Children Have To Come Back?

Published: June 7, 2014 (Originally published: June 6, 2014)
Q

If my son has not reached the age of accountability by the Rapture and therefore can’t make the choice to come to Christ, will he have to make it later? Since he lacks the capacity to sin or be judged I understand he would come with us in the Rapture, but some believe that those who lack the mental capacity to come to Christ will be given that chance (or rather have to make that decision) during the 1,000 year reign. Wouldn’t that mean he’d have to be born again in the Millennium in order to make a choice. Doesn’t sound right to me. Does everyone have to decide at some point or do infants and small children get a “pass go” card? I cannot find any scripture to support this doctrine of decision, can you help?

Still More On Becoming Who We Are

Published: June 8, 2014 (Originally published: June 7, 2014)
Q

Re: Becoming Who We Are. The more I read what Paul has written the more it seems to contrast with Jesus. Paul frequently seems legalistic and adds on to the Gospel and to Jesus’ statement to love God and others. Arguing and complaining are not sins. Both can lead to setting things straight or improving situations as long as they are done with respect. Paul argued with Peter. Jesus was a man’s man. He turned over tables, he argued with religious leaders, etc. God gets angry and He made us in His image. Jacob “wrestled” all night with God. God didn’t say Jacob should not have done this. Sometimes, Paul reminds me of Job’s friends. Making judgments that God doesn’t. Quite frankly the Holy Spirit has a lot to teach me and arguing and complaining are not at the top of the list.

Is Daniel’s 70th Week About To Start?

Published: May 28, 2014 (Originally published: May 29, 2014)
Q

What are you making of the Pontiff’s visit to Israel? Is it pointing to Dan 9:27?

“He will confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the middle of the week he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him”

If a 7 year peace agreement is signed at the Vatican next month has the prophetic clock gone into overdrive ie is it the start of the tribulation?

Righteous And Holy

Published: May 28, 2014 (Originally published: May 29, 2014)
Q

It seems to me that there is confusion among Christians as to what righteousness and holiness are. Most Christians associate it with being sinless – if such were possible (hence, the emphasis on works to try to gain/regain it) – but I see righteousness and holiness as God’s divine attributes that can on only be bestowed upon believers by faith in Him. Am I correct in believing this?

Receiving The Holy Spirit

Published: May 29, 2014 (Originally published: May 30, 2014)
Q

With Phillip preaching the word and crowds hearing and seeing miracles that he did, why do you think that Phillip did not pray for them to receive the Holy Spirit. And that the original disciples Peter and John were sent? Were the original disciples, now apostles, the only ones to pray for this. And at what point was there a transition from them to others. And are there qualifications for this, like pastors, elders, evangelists, prophets?

Why Doesn’t He Change?

Published: May 31, 2014 (Originally published: May 31, 2014)
Q

All Satan really has to do to “win” against God is to make something God said was going to happen, NOT happen. God proves He is God by giving us prophecy, history written in advance. All Satan would have to do to prove the God of the Bible false is to mess up a prophecy, right? For instance, Satan could choose NOT to have the Anti-Christ stand in the Holy of Holies and declare himself to be God in the middle of the Daniel’s 70th week. This is making a prophecy fail. It seems simple to me, why doesn’t Satan just change his plan?

The Seven Thunders Of Rev. 10

Published: June 1, 2014 (Originally published: June 1, 2014)
Q

I was studying the judgments of the end times for the purpose of warning some friends I care about what awaits them if they continue to put off salvation. I’d like your opinion on something. While the fact is no one knows for sure it seems to me that the 7 thunders are an unrevealed series of judgments, probably worse than the trumpet judgments, but not as severe as the bowl judgments. I say this because of the number of thunders and the location of the thunders in the book. What’s your opinion?

Counterfeit Resurrection

Published: June 1, 2014 (Originally published: June 1, 2014)
Q

My husband was watching an end-times TV show where the commentator said the anti-Christ will be killed and then resurrect himself during the Tribulation. The idea will be he can show himself to have great power and win the masses to his side. I have never heard of the anti-Christ dying during the Tribulation, have you? Is this Biblical?

Acquiring Mountain Moving Faith

Published: June 2, 2014 (Originally published: June 1, 2014)
Q

My question is on faith. I know someone who is terminally ill and dying. She has great faith in the Lord. In a recent conversation she said, “Can you imagine meeting Jesus? How wonderful it will be”. There was such excitement in her spirit. I have great respect and admiration for her faith and the relationship she has with Him. She has said that her faith is a simple one. She trusts her life to God. In many of our conversations over the years she has shared her faith and the faithfulness of the Lord in her life. How do you reach that kind of faith?
