Between The Rapture And Daniel’s 70th Week

Published: September 19, 2010
Q

Hello I love your site and i keep it bookmarked on my ipod to check nearly everyday. Here is what I can’t figure out. I know a lot of people think there may be a gap of time between the rapture and the start of the 70th week. My question is under which dispensation would this period of time be under?

The Locusts And The Seal Of God

Published: September 18, 2010
Q

Concerning the locusts in Revelation 9:4: “They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.”(NIV) Does this instruction to the locusts only apply to the 144,000 from the twelve tribes of Israel who receive the mark on their foreheads in Chapter 7? And does God still seal the new believers after the Rapture?

What’s Coming For Israel?

Published: September 17, 2010
Q

May God bless you for providing this incredible web site. My question is in regards to Israel and Iran’s upcoming conflict that everyone is speculating on. If and when Israel strikes Iran, there are going to be numerous friends asking me where this fits into bible prophecy and what will happen next. I see the attack as inevitable unless God shuffles the deck of cards and changes everything and propels things into a new direction. The only thing I can think of is this will put a hook into Russia’s jaw and bring about Ezekiel 38 and 39. Do you have any other thoughts on this? I want to prepare myself with possible answers.

Is Studying Prophecy Unhealthy?

Published: September 15, 2010
Q

Our pastor is doing a Q&A on Sunday nights, answering questions that have been anonymously submitted by church members. Most of the questions pertain to end times. Being an a-millennialist, he started the Q&A tonight by saying that some people study end times too much, and that it’s very unhealthy to do so. I know that many seminaries have moved toward an allegorical approach to scripture, but why do some pastors seem so irritated with people that hold to a pre-trib view? I mean how can studying prophecy be unhealthy?

Still More Follow Up On “Married Or Not”

Published: September 15, 2010
Q

Thank you for your website, I check my emails every day for Grace Thru Faith. I have a question about the Q&A the other day “Married or Not? ” Did you mean that all marriages in the world that don’t involve a believer are not approved by God? Since God began marriage in Genesis for many good reasons, like being the foundation of society, and the best way to have and raise children, wouldn’t He be glad people are making use of His good idea even if they aren’t saved?

Our country was blessed when living by God’s principles even though most of the people weren’t saved. Doesn’t 1 Cor. 7:14 mean that the unsaved one in the marriage, and the children are set apart for some blessings from the Lord because there is a saved person in the family praying for them and being a testimony to them?

Are We To Work For A United World?

Published: September 15, 2010
Q

I’ve only just now heard of the Bilderbergers and their theorized attempts to enact a world government. Should I view this group and other groups that have the same intent as sinister groups automatically? Are we as believers urged by Scripture to not aide or engage attempts to unite the world?

Did They Go To Heaven Or Paradise?

Published: September 14, 2010
Q

It is my understanding that OT Saints went to paradise when they died and that they did not go to Heaven until after Christ’s resurrection. Yet, an OT Saint was “snatched” away (raptured). Did he go to heaven before Christ ascended to sit at the right hand of God? What about the Thief of the Cross? Did he go to Paradise or Heaven?

A Famine Of The Word, Follow Up

Published: September 14, 2010
Q

Your answer to a reader’s question about the coming famine of the Lord’s word urged me to further pursue the matter. We have been searching high & low for a Biblically sound church to attend in our area, with no success. It would seem that there is a growing famine within the church right now. I’ve witnessed pastors plagiarizing sermons of others, mini sermonettes that bear little resemblance to Bible doctrine, rock & roll bands that sound hideous, church services that preach what people want to hear, and not the Bible. This is distressing, to say the least. I’m sure there are many out there that are nodding their heads in agreement. What are your thoughts?

Married Or Not? More Follow Up

Published: September 13, 2010
Q

I found your website 9 months ago and look forward to reading it on a daily basis. It is awesome and have learned so much. However I have to disagree with you on your stand on living together without being married.. How do you explain what the bible says that fornicators will not enter the kingdom on God? Also, since fallen angels had sex with mortal women, and we will be like the angels, does that not mean that when we go to heaven, we will also have sex?
