I haven’t written with a question in a long time…but I’m still praising God everyday when I read your articles and timely responses to readers questions. You can’t imagine the number of times I have silently “high fived” you with a “good answer, Jack”. You continue to bless me with your anointed insight to explaining scripture in the most elemental ways. I recently lost my wonderful husband of 38 years. We made promises to meet again just “inside the eastern gate.” My thoughts frequently go to the fact that he (soul and spirit) is already with our Saviour, even though his earthly body is still here on earth. (Absent from the body / present with the Lord.) My wonderings are along this line…is he already in his mansion (room) ? What is he doing while he waits for the rapture (or death) to bring me up ? Are there any clues in scripture as to what everone already there is doing while they wait ?

Thank you for your faithfulness in teaching the Word. Question: Could “genea” of Matt. 24:34 mean “race, or stock of people”instead of “people alive at a certain time period”? I’d certainly rather it mean the latter, as our time would surely be short before we meet Him in the air! However, I’m aware that others, C. I. Scofield included, interpreted “genea” to mean the former.

I’ve read in several places that the only ones at the Great White Throne judgment (Rev. 20:11-15) will be all of the “unsaved” dead throughout time. But I have always had a question about that. If the church is judged at the Bema Seat (to receive awards), when are the OT saints judged? Also, what about the people that live through the tribulation and go into the millennium to repopulate the Earth? When do those people and their descendants get judged? Will those that trust in Christ for salvation during the millennium receive sinless eternal bodies like the “Church” will receive at the rapture? If these people will not be present at the Great White Throne judgment, then why would Jesus even bother opening the Lamb’s Book of Life? If only those whose names are not written in the Book at present, why would He even need to check?

Why do you think our earthly bodies will be raptured? What would we do with them in heaven? Doesn’t the Bible speak of a mass delusion that God sends to keep those left on earth from realizing what has happened? (2Thess. 2) Could it be that our souls will be raptured making Matt. 24 (about the vultures) have to do with our bodies?

You mentioned that the believing remnant of Israel will flee to the mountains (Petra) as a hiding place to escape the Great Tribulation, but what about the Jews who remain in Israel? Will they be subject to the mark of the Beast?

What does it mean to be faithful during the Tribulation? What must a believer do during the Tribulation so as not to lose the Holy Spirit and his salvation? Will one sin cost a man his salvation? What if he sins and dies immediately? Man sins ever waking moment. Once lost, can they get Him back?

I have been reading a book about the end times. The author of this book is very well known and has written several books on end-times and prophecy. He states in his book that “we will be looking down from heaven and will watch the whole Tribulation play out”. (we will have ring side seats) I have looked everywhere in the bible and can not find this. I did not think we could look down to earth. Also I have been told by a friend who is a deacon that when someone you love dies, the angels go back and forth and tell the loved one about the funeral and how much they were loved and missed. I have never found this anywhere in scripture. Am I missing something?

I have read several of your articles about life in Heaven after our earthly death and still have a question that I hope you can help me with. I was married 44 years before my wife went to be with the Lord. After several years I was reacquainted with an old high school sweetheart and we are thinking about getting married. The question that has been bothering me is how all this will work when we are all in Heaven. Thank you for all the work you put into your website as it has helped me tremendously.

I appreciate your answers and devotion to research. I watched the History Channel’s presentation about 2012. Since the Mayan Calendar and it’s purported accuracy are used as a source for the ‘prophecy” about the end of the world, I wonder what this calendar says about the time period around 900 AD and the end of their society. I’m not trying to be argumentative but, this should have loomed pretty large on their list of events to watch out for.

We pray and plead to cover us with the precious Blood of Jesus so that we would be protected from the dangers of this world. I would be thankful if you could let me know the Bible reference/Quote to this effect.
