Q. About the Mark of the Beast; why the forehand or forehead? Why is it either of those two places, does the Bible indicate the reasoning behind the two locations?
A. The Bible doesn’t give a reason specifically, but the right hand and forehead are two very conspicuous places. The mark would be very easy to spot there and its absence quickly noticeable. In Ezekiel 9:4, God had an angel mark all those in Jerusalem who were faithful to Him to protect them before destroying the city. And in Rev. 9:4 the locusts are forbidden from harming those who bear the seal of God. Both of these are likely supernatural seals invisible to the human eye, but both are in the forehead. Perhaps the mark of the beast is one of Satan’s many efforts at copying God.
