I wonder if the current situation in Israel and the Gaza Strip is the beginning of Obadiah’s prophetic book? Could this escalate to be the Obadiah prophecy?

The first part of the Book of Obadiah was a prophecy against the Edomites who were driven out of their capital (Petra) by the Nabateans, a Bedouin people descended from Ishmael. They came on the scene after the Babylonians conquered Judah and the surrounding nations and remained until they were absorbed by the Roman Empire in the first century AD. The Lord said he was bringing them against the Edomites because they stood by rejoicing while Judah was destroyed and even supported the Babylonians against them (Obadiah 1:10-14).
