What is your opinion on (a well-known Pastor) that has been in the news lately? Is there really a white church and a black church? There are a few black people that attend my church, but other than that it is white. I just want some clear thinking opinion on this.
There is only one Church. It consists of people from every race, creed, and color who’ve given their hearts to the Lord. Some white people who sit in pews or stand behind pulpits say bad things about black people and some black people who sit in pews or stand behind pulpits talk about white people the same way.
Whether they are in the Church or not isn’t for us to say, but it is clear that what they say is contrary to God’s word. In my opinion, politicians making theological statements to get votes, and theologians making political statements to influence the vote are equally troublesome.
