I have a question that I cannot seem to find an answer to and I hope you can help. Is there any scripture or inference in scripture that Lucifer may have been the first of the angelic beings created? Any light you can shed on this would be helpful.
The Bible only indicates that Lucifer is a created being (Ezekiel 28:13). It doesn’t say whether he was created first. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe the Archangel Michael was the first created being but there’s no Biblical evidence of that either.
In Colossians 1:15 Paul wrote that Jesus is the firstborn over all creation. But that doesn’t mean Jesus was born before anyone else, it means He has the rights of the firstborn (Romans 8:29) which include the right of inheritance (Psalm 2:8, Romans 8:17) and responsibility to care for the other children of the Father (Hebr. 2:13).
