This week in India 8-20-22
This week we share our Independence Day celebration along with our church service, school classes and more in our outreaches.

This week India celebrated their 75th Independence Day! It was a very big deal and all the families got flags and we had a special celebration together.
But first…
Market success with Laxmi’s mom!
This was a good week for this sweet family! Laxmi finished her radiation, got accepted to college with a full scholarship, and her mom was able to restock her cart with new inventory! It was back in 2018 that we were able to give several families what they needed to begin small businesses! Several of the women wanted to sell items in the local markets, and needed pushcarts to make it happen. (You can see more here!)
Independence Day Flags
All the families got together to help each other hang flags in preparation for the day!
Independence Day!
And then on the day itself, we gathered to pray for the nation and everyone in it. For the leaders to lead with peace and integrity and for the people to live in peace together. Then we celebrated with songs and dances and food!

And that’s our week! We continue to pray for the rescue of the prayer house village from all that opposes them. Thank you so much for praying with us!
