Week in review March 15 2020: COVID-19

I posted, Our Response to Coronavirus yesterday, so I’ve got the outreach posts for you today! I know many are home without church today, and everyone is feeling uncertain. We’re all in this together and we’ll get through it together. ♥

Few things lift my mood like pictures of adorable children learning about how much Jesus loves them!

This week, we cleaned the big water tanks in the village.

Our volunteers visited the kids to pray and read the Bible with them.

Thank you so much for your prayers for Rakumama! She is on a full course of treatment for tuberculosis, and she is feeling much better. Thank you, Jesus!

We had communion together

We honored the women for International Women’s Day!

Each one chose their favorite Bible verse and read it to everyone! They are so proud that they can read their Bibles! Some of the passages they chose are: Psalm 116:1-4, Psalm 61:1-8, Psalm 23:1-3, Isaiah 53:5-6, Psalm 71:12-15, Psalm 136, 1-4, Psalm 139:-6

The kids love standing to repeat their memory verses! And they especially love it when we have the stage.

We gave toiletries to all the kids. It’s never been more important to keep the kids and their families stocked with soap and the ability to stay clean!

Thank you for your love, your prayers for those we serve around the world! It’s absolutely amazing what happens when we come together and follow the Lord’s leading. I’m beyond grateful for you all!

Thank you for keeping us, this ministry and our outreaches in prayer, and thank you for your support! We couldn’t do any of this without you.
