Who Was Created First?
Published: May 26, 2023I have a question that I cannot seem to find an answer to and I hope you can help. Is there any scripture or inference in scripture that Lucifer may have been the first of the angelic beings created? Any light you can shed on this would be helpful.
Who Makes Us Sin?
Published: May 26, 2023In James (1:14) we read that “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.” which implies that we are ostensibly our own worst enemy. Meaning that the reason we sin is solely because of our own sinful nature and not because of some outside influence (the devil). However, in 1 Peter (5:8) we read “your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” and again in 1 John (4:4) we read “greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” These two scriptures would imply that temptation by the devil does exist and that (at least some of) our sin IS due to the devil.

Saying Jesus Is Lord
Published: May 25, 2023I have a question about 1st Cor. 12:3. I have a lot of associates who believe that because certain pastors say that Jesus is Lord, that they must be genuine because this verse says only by His spirit are you able to say that. Yet it is clear that some of these pastors, namely prosperity types, have nothing to do with the Lord at all. Can you explain this please, and other verses like it, so people won’t be deceived?
The Destruction Of Babylon

The Bible And Tradition

To Whom Was He Speaking?
Published: May 23, 2023Re: Luke 21:34-36 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” I know that those who are to “pray that they may be considered worthy” are not members of the Church. To whom did Jesus address this scripture?
The Fig Tree Of Matt. 24:32
Published: May 23, 2023Recently I heard a pastor argue that the fig tree in Matt. 24:32 does not represent Israel. He says Israel was described as an olive tree when the Church was grafted in. Is that true?
