Didn’t God Promise Them?
Published: April 6, 2016Didn’t God promise Israel that they would hold the promised land forever? And didn’t He promise David an heir on the throne forever? I know that God can’t lie, but for most of the last 2,000 years, neither has occurred. Why wouldn’t forever include those years as well?
More On Judging The Church
Published: April 6, 2016I have a question about our judgment before the Millennium. When we get raptured we receive our immortal body which is already the gift of eternal life as I understand it. What will we then be judged on at his second coming? And what other gifts will we receive at this time? Is this possibly the time we will get assigned to our position/level in Heaven and the gift we receive will determine our position?
Satan’s Expulsion From Heaven
Published: April 6, 2016Isaiah 14:12 and Luke 10:18 speak of Satan’s fall from heaven. If Satan was thrown out of heaven, how is he there now accusing us before God? If he was thrown out how is he going to be thrown out again. I know every word of the Bible is true but did God let him back into heaven and if so why?
Is The Restrainer Weakening?
Published: April 6, 2016Do you think it is possible that the restraining power is already weakening as a lead up to the rapture? I ask this because of the overwhelming and ever growing sense of evil in the world.
Condemning Contemporary Christian Music
Published: April 6, 2016The pastor of a church I’ve recently visited gave a sermon on how all Christian Contemporary Music, especially Christian rock music is not an acceptable form of worship music, and he asserts that God is not pleased with that style of worship music. His argument is that since rock music “originated for the purposes of sin, darkness, and sexual immorality,” rock music is a bad tree that can only produce bad fruit. He said that even if some Christian rock musicians are sincere in what they do, they are still producing sinful music because rock music was created “for the sole purpose of sin, darkness, and corruption.”
Look Up In The Sky
Published: April 5, 2016Re: Matt. 24:28, “For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.” I trust your interpretations. Can you help me understand what this verse means?
What Changed Them?
Published: April 5, 2016Perhaps I am missing something on your site, but what I have not seen is how the days after our Lord’s resurrection really changed the lives of the disciples. It seems to me that they were convicted up until the moment of the cross, but didn’t realize until the resurrection everything Jesus was here for. They seemed to waiver back and forth in their faith through out their time with Him, but as soon as they saw Him after the resurrection they absolutely believed, to the point of death.
By What Authority Can They Do This?
Published: April 5, 2016By what authority do pastors/teachers grant themselves the privilege of choosing which portions of the bible they deem relevant, while completely disregarding other sections of scripture? A prime example are teachers who totally and willfully ignore all prophetic passages from the Bible. Also, how this will impact the affected believers who are under these pastor/teachers. Will they be judged unfavorably by the Lord for the careless, or indifferent actions of those who have oversight over them?
Did God Change His Mind?
Published: April 5, 2016Re: Lessons from Jonah. I do not believe from what scripture says in various places that God changes his mind, but in Jonah 3:10 it almost seems as if he does. When asked by others why this is not an example of God changing his mind, I have had difficulty explaining it. Can you please help me?
Reading The Bible
Published: April 5, 2016I heard a man on radio this morning say that God does not hear or answer prayers of those who don’t read their Bible. He continued by saying why should God answer them if we can’t be bothered to read His Word. Do you agree with his statements?
