Millennial Reign Of Christ

Q

Will there be an opportunity for people to repent during the millennial reign of Christ?   Will there also be birth and death among both believers and unbelievers alike?

Explaining 1 Cor 2:9

Published: August 22, 2015
Q

I know that this verse refers to things after this life on earth is over, but could it have a double meaning? Paul says that the mysteries and the hidden wisdom of God are revealed to us by His Spirit. So could the “the things which God has prepared for those who love Him,” also be things that are being revealed to us as we walk with Him, such as ministry and such?

Spirit and Soul

Q

Thanks again for your ministry and help! From reading the Bible with the various verses about our spirit and soul along with your studies with Q & A’s, I’m aware our body is the temporary dwelling place of our soul and spirit.

The soul is where our mind and emotions come from and the spirit is our conscience. My question is, is it Biblically sound to say the dwelling place for the soul is in the brain and spirit is in the heart within our body? Thanks again and may God bless your ministry!

Losing Salvation in Revelation

Published: August 20, 2015
Q

In Revelation 22:18-19 it says “I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

What does this passage mean if our salvation is supposed to be secure?

Forgiveness then Death?

Published: August 20, 2015
Q

I’ve heard from people that if you die and don’t ask for forgiveness before you do then you could go to hell. They applied this to believers as well. I’ve accepted Christ as my savior and rely on him for my salvation but if I pass away without asking for forgiveness for my sins first, will this forfeit my salvation?

Regarding Anti-Semitism

Published: August 20, 2015
Q

On your site, you show strong opposition to anti-semitic attitudes. And, since growing in the knowledge of my own faith, I’m beginning to recognize just how dire of an offense anti-semitism is. Well, I must confess that in the past, I have made some markedly ignorant jokes regarding the Jews.  Will I be forgiven for this? What about other Christians who truly believe, but for some reason stand vehemently opposed to Israel and modern-day Jews? Will even they be forgiven?

Forgiveness And Salvation

Q

If we fail to forgive someone or ask for their forgiveness before we pass away or when the rapture happens; will we be left behind or lose our salvation for it?

Will God Only Do What He Has Revealed?

Published: August 19, 2015
Q

In regard to end times, will God only do the things that have been revealed thru scripture? I know He has had a plan from the beginning.  Could he even change this plan if he wanted to?  Will he “tweak” it some?   Does Satan have free will too?  If so, why would Satan not change his plan because he can read the Bible too?

OSAS And Luke 21:19

Published: August 18, 2015
Q

I am in discussion with a Greek Orthodox friend about salvation who really seems to be seeking Truth since he is coming to our CC Men’s Bible Study for a couple of years now.

It’s clear that he’s been taught a faith plus works salvation and without works you can lose your salvation, but by using several of your web teachings I am able to answer most of them.

I showed him how Matt. 24:13 is not meant for the Church.  Can Matt 10:22 also be projected into the end times due to Matt 10:23?  And what about Luke 21:19?

I understand that the Bible can’t contradict itself on the security of a believer, and your OSAS Anthology is a fantastic resource for this subject.

I’m praying that the Holy Spirit will enlighten this Seeker and lead him out of his works orientation. He has stated that he will not know if he has “done enough” until he is standing before the Lord. A terrible burden to be under and would love to help him relieve this burden.

Explaining Psalm 90:10

Published: August 18, 2015
Q

Just read your wonderful article on healing. That is the best explanation of Paul’s ‘thorn in the flesh’ I have ever read.  I have a question  –  I would like to read an expansion of Psalm 90:10 where we are given three score years and ten but perhaps to eighty with tribulations.

I have seen many great people of faith in our Lord suffer terribly at about the age of 80. My own much loved brother has terminal cancer at age 81.    He has been a man of God all his life and I hate to see this happen to him, but he has instructed all his family to pray, not for healing, but that Father’s Will be done. How do you see this?
