Thanks so much for your very informative site. I have a question regarding Luke 12: 47-48. Who is being spoken of here ? Do these verses indicate punishment for lazy believers or degrees of punishment for unbelievers ?

God is perfect in every way. Therefore His original creation, including man, was perfect in every way. Yet the first man, with no sin nature, chose to sin. We call it a free will decision. At the Rapture, we will be perfected. Our sin nature will be gone. We will still have our free will. We will have the ability to sin yet we will choose not to sin. So how will we be different from Adam?

If believing Christians are forced in some way to deny Jesus and take the mark of the beast during the tribulation, will they still be forgiven and saved?

You write often about eternal security, OSAS. Scripturally, I agree with you. But if we are eternally sealed when we are born again and the devil cannot snatch us from Christ’s grasp, what is his end game, just our misery?

Your articles on eternal security were such a blessing to me. I am still wrestling with some vital concerns, however. You stated in several of your articles the believer’s behavior will not negate his or her salvation. But there are several verses in 1 John which seem to indicate to the contrary. For instance, 1 John 3:9 says anyone born of God will not continue to sin because God’s seed remains in him, he cannot continue to sin! There are several others as well.

Coming out of a denomination that stressed grace/ works and struggling with sin as a believer, I want with all my heart to embrace what you’re teaching! My sanity and marriage depend on it. Please keep serving our precious Lord by helping to liberate multitudes in bondage to legalism and rules and commandments taught by men!

I recently presented the view of Hebrews 6 that you discussed in one of your articles but someone suggested that Hebrews 6 is for an extreme circumstance where someone completely throws it back in God’s face and says that they don’t believe anymore and wants nothing to do with God. They suggested that in such a circumstance, it was re-crucifying Christ all over again and they would be beyond salvation. I didn’t say anything because I’ve heard of people who became atheist but ultimately came back to God. I was wondering if there was some solid Scripture to back up either claim?

What is the criteria for Tribulation Salvation? I mean, now, the salvation is by grace through faith. The Holy Spirit will be taken away. Is the tribulation salvation by faith plus works or by works alone, or what?

The doctrine of eternal security, or OSAS (once saved always saved) is one of the most hotly debated topics in all of Christianity. Did the Lord’s death really pay for all the sins of our life, thereby guaranteeing a place in Heaven for all born again believers?

Or, are we responsible for the sins we commit after we become born again, running the risk that our post salvation behavior can cause God to rescind his promise to save us?
