Losing Our Crowns?

Published: July 30, 2015 (Originally published: July 30, 2015)
Q

When the prodigal returned, his father welcomed him with open arms. But, there is no example of his father giving him another inheritance. Does this mean that when we fall out of fellowship with Christ that we lose any crowns we may have earned and they will not be restored upon repentance but we  will have to earn them anew?

Are We Hedging Our Bets? Follow Up

Published: July 30, 2015 (Originally published: July 31, 2015)
Q I read your article (several times) entitled “Are We Hedging Our Bets.”  Thank you for sharing what God put on your heart.  It is something I needed to hear once again. In the article, you said yes, according to Mark 10:21, in response to the question should we give everything to the poor and live hand to mouth.  In the article I read, the author gives a different reason for why Jesus told the rich  young ruler to sell everything.  In addition, many prominent pastors also say it is not wrong to have possessions, just that they should not have us. Although, I will say that what you wrote resonates more with my heart. Could you explain why these pastors have this interpretation of the rich young ruler  why it is different than what you stated. This has been something that I’ve wondered about over the years.

Second Chance For Salvation Of The Jewish People?

Published: July 22, 2015 (Originally published: July 23, 2015)
Q

I’ve heard it taught before, that at Judgment, the Jewish people will have a second chance to receive Christ as savior and Lord since they are the chosen people of God, and because the veil will have been lifted and the scales will have been removed from their eyes at the end so they can see the truth of Jesus and He being the true son of the most high God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Is this true ? If so, which scripture gives such reference so I can make note of this and share with my other brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ, Jew and gentile.

Fallen Angels And Demons

Published: July 22, 2015 (Originally published: July 23, 2015)
Q

When God threw Lucifer and the fallen angels to earth, It seemed logical to think these fallen angels were the demons doing Satan’s bidding in the lives of mankind. I am being told that demons and fallen angels are not the same. I find nothing in my Bible that defines them as different or having different distinct attributes. Are they two different things?

Israel’s Awakening

Published: July 22, 2015 (Originally published: July 23, 2015)
Q

Today there is much fervor about the Israeli cattlemen trying to breed the red heifer, and the passion to rebuild the Temple. With the coming animal sacrifices, will the Jewish people acknowledge their sin problem and their need for blood atonement? Will the coming sacrificial system point them to the atoning work of Messiah Yeshua? Will this be an awakening for Israel?

Q

I understand the “tribulation saints are those who come to know the Lord during Daniel’s 70th Week.  My question is:  Do the tribulation saints include both the saved faithful from the nation of Israel, as well as the saved gentiles from all the nations?

How Can they Accept Him?

Published: July 23, 2015 (Originally published: July 24, 2015)
Q

Prophetically speaking, if Israel–on the heels of the false peace brokered by the Anti-Christ–will then accept him as its long-awaited Messiah, then doesn’t that mean that the Anti-Christ has to be Jewish by race , religion, and heritage? There’s so much talk today about the AC being Muslim, but wouldn’t Israel reject all but a Hebrew Messiah?

A Day Or A Season?

Published: August 27, 2015 (Originally published: July 25, 2015)
Q

As soon as the Fig Tree’s twigs start to get tender, the day in Matthew 24:32-51 and Mark 13:28-36 is at the very doors. If the fig Tree is the nation of Israel, how can its twigs just start to get tender at the day of the second coming? The Fig Tree will be decimated in the second half of the tribulation. Closer to the end of the tribulation, in Daniel 12:7 the power of the holy people will be finally broken. How can it’s twigs just start to be getting tender? Is it not a better fit that this time is where the blindness of Israel is going to start to be removed?

2 Sam. 7:14

Published: July 24, 2015 (Originally published: July 25, 2015)
Q

In your book, The Redeemer, on page 86, you reference 2 Sam. 7:14 and write, “but since neither Solomon nor any other Davidic King was flogged by men for “doing wrong” there’s a lot more going on here than meets the eye. The wording casts shadows of the Messiah.” When I looked up this reference, scripture seems to be pointing to Solomon as the one to whom this prophesy is about. However, your wording on page 86 seems to lead the reader to infer that you are referring to Jesus. Also, since Solomon did commit iniquities later in his life by taking all those wives and concubines, is there scripture that specifically states that he wasn’t chastened with the rod and stripes that would confirm what you wrote. It seems that 7:14 says the opposite, that he would be chastened.
