Israel And The Church, Follow Up

Published: December 7, 2007
Q

I have a question in response to an answer you gave regarding the Temple after the Resurrection. I’ve heard it taught before about the scarlet ribbon no longer turning white and the (Temple) door not staying closed (the menorah was new to me though) and I’ve always thought those things were really incredible. I was just wondering what the source of that information was. Is it Jewish tradition? Church tradition? Secular history? If you could let me know I’d be very grateful.

What’s Going On Here?

Published: December 6, 2007
Q

The reaction to the latest news of the US reassessment of Iran’s nuclear threat has been well received in the middle east, particularly Iran. It appears that perhaps President Bush was presented with a choice at Annapolis – back off Iran, or OPEC abandons the dollar(?).

Do you see this new development as a major step in the direction of “peace and safety” (1 Thes 5:3) before the sudden destruction? In other words, the US states that there is no problem in order to save the economy, Europe goes along for the same reasons, the middle east goes along aware of their true objectives, and Israeli leaders go along in appeasement, or in deception – then when everyone agrees there is “no threat” and we can live in “peace and safety” BOOM – sudden destruction and the church is out of here!

Who Are The Tribulation Saints?

Published: December 6, 2007
Q

Please clarify who the Tribulation Saints are. If I understand you, at the Rapture, God will turn His attention from the gentiles back to the Hebrews. Does this mean the Tribulation Saints will all be Jewish, that the Gentiles have missed the boat so to speak?

Thank you so much for sharing your considerable knowledge with your readers. May God continue to bless you.

Why Is Manasseh There And Dan Isn’t?

Q

Thank you for the quick response (to my previous question about Dan); could you tell me why is Manasseh is in Revelation and why the tribe of Dan isn’t there? We are having this discussion in our Wednesday night bible class.

What If We Die Before Coming Back?

Published: December 3, 2007
Q

I recently read your article on Hebrews, Part 4, and a question came to my mind. As in the case of the prodigal son, the son came back to the Father, but what if the son had died before he came back to his father? What if a Christian who left his faith died before he returned to his faith? Would he go to heaven or to hell?

Big Sign, Wrong Conclusion

Published: November 30, 2007
Q

I definitely believe the rebirth of Israel is a big sign, however, once again your pre-trib analogy with the following statements from your article is full of holes: You said in your article:

Quote: The second clue is that the people he’s telling to flee are in Judea, the name by which the Biblical land of Israel was known during the time of the Lord’s visitation. (Matt. 24:16)

And the third clue is to pray it won’t happen on a Sabbath. (Matt. 24:20) Only observant Jews would be worried about this because they can only walk 1000 paces on the Sabbath, not nearly far enough to even get out of town, let alone into the mountains.

The aforementioned in your article is just one of the several big problems concerning the false pre-trib rapture doctrine theory:

1. Orthodox Jews do not read the New Testament Scriptures, so they would have no way of knowing what Jesus said, so Jesus is definitely NOT speaking to unsaved or Orthodox Jews.

2. Jesus is definitely speaking and warning Jewish believers of the above statements who are in Judea at the time the abomination of desolation occurs because they will be reading the scriptures and watching for the signs that he gave them (and us), which means there is no secret pre-tribulation rapture, or else they would have been gone.

Teenage Suicide

Published: November 28, 2007
Q

Teenage suicide is on the rise. Besides those who I have read about, I also have known relatives of two of these children. Neither came from a family where they received Biblical guidance. Because teenager’s have not had the time to mature, and unless they have been lead to Christ by a family member or friend, they don’t know much, if anything, about salvation. Both of them took their lives because the didn’t have hope that things in their life would ever change. What do you think happens when they are judged?

What Could Cause The US To Abandon Israel?

Published: November 27, 2007
Q

I feel like I’m writing to a friend every time I’ve asked you a question.Bless you and everyone in your ministry.

There is a certain person, hoping to get the nomination for president, who has some background in Islam. If this person would become our next president and the battle of Ezekiel is as close as we believe it is, could this be why the US would stand down and not come to the aid if Israel?

Could you elaborate on the scenario of this person winning and what his role could be, not just in the US, but in the Middle East? It seems that this could be a person that Jews and Muslims alike might accept. I hope this doesn’t seem too wacky a question, but as a lover of God’s prophecy ,it looks like a red flag to me. I don’t see the anti-Christ in every leader or around every corner, but I do hear the footsteps of the Messiah!

Are There Some Children Who Aren’t Saved?

Published: November 27, 2007
Q

I would like to hear your thoughts on the following question. Does the Bible teach or do you believe all children before the age of accountability will go to heaven or is it possible that only those that God foreknew would accept him had they lived longer would go to heaven? Thanks and may God continue to bless your ministry.
