Will The Church Conduct Animal Sacrifice In The Millennium?
Published: August 24, 2021I enjoy studying your various topics and have a question. In the millennium will Christians be offering sacrifices with the Jews? This doesn’t make sense to me.
Can A Person Be Post Trib And Pre Wrath?
Published: August 24, 2021A friend mentioned that they believe in a rapture, but a rapture that is post trib, pre-wrath (meaning the day of wrath). I have heard of both post-trib, and pre-wrath rapture theories, but not the combination of the two. I completely and firmly believe in a pre-trib rapture, with no other qualifiers, and to me it would be hard to “comfort one another with these words” if you believed in the above scenario. Any input on this theory and how I can help my friend?
Is My Friend Ignoring His Calling?
Published: August 23, 2021I have a friend who believes that he has a calling from God to do Gospel music, and has received confirmation from different people and pastors that he will one day stand on a stage with his band and sing to huge crowds. He believes he’s being held back from this because he can’t stop sinning. Therefore he is waiting for God to make him stop sinning and after that he’ll be able to follow his dream. What do you think?
Who’s In Charge Here? More Follow Up
Published: August 23, 2021I was taught that God controls the orbit of our lives once we give our lives to Him. But I was also taught that we handed the world over to Satan in the garden. My question to you is this: I have been hit with a lot in my life, and all I can come up with is, I am still standing. If God is not doling out these trials, an accident here, a disease there, but it’s the devil is doing this, as you say, how does our faith impact God’s restraint of him?
Knowing What We Believe And Why
Published: August 23, 2021Quoting you, “The best defense is to know what you believe and why, and be able to articulate it when confronted with these attacks.” While I don’t believe I’m all that articulate, I do know what I believe but I don’t know the answer to “why” I believe – I just believe. What is the answer?
Bear Each Other’s Burdens
Published: August 20, 2021I heard a pastor preaching on Galatians 6:2 (bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ). He strongly recommended sharing our most hurtful experiences with some one else (within the church or outside the church). And if some one wanted to share their hurtful experience with me, I should just listen and not judge or try solving their problem. I don’t think “manufacturing” the condition of bearing one another’s burden proves that we fulfill the law of Christ. This pastor preaches about grace and the freedom we have in Christ, but then lays yokes like this upon his congregation. This sounds like a good topic to preach about, but I don’t think taking on more burdens to fulfill the law is what was intended in this verse. I would like to know your thoughts.
Who Are The Sons Of The Kingdom?
Published: August 20, 2021I came across a verse that I don’t understand, I am hoping you can help me. In Matthew 8:12 it says, “But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness.” Who are the “sons of the kingdom?” Thank you for your help.
Messiah Or Christ?
Published: August 20, 2021Why do you persist in refusing to use “Messiah” as the correct definition of our Savior? Your constant use of the word ‘Christ’ simply continues to maintain your readers in ignorance rather than to enlighten them with the truth of His name which is, “YaH-SHua Ha-MaSHiaCH” or in English… Jesus the Messiah. When He lived and began His ministry never was the name ‘Christ’ used! Messiah, yes, but Christ? No!
OSAS, Really? Follow Up
Published: August 19, 2021After reading OSAS,Really? and many of your other responses concerning OSAS, I can’t help but wonder why some “Christians” still have a hard time understanding our eternal security. Its a simple concept and is backed by strong unrefuted verses. I have discussed this with some believers who don’t believe in OSAS and they never refute the verses that support OSAS outright but instead refer to other verses. Is it because they are really unbelievers who haven’t genuinely accepted Christ alluding to the possibility that they haven’t been born again, therefore spiritually dead, or is it simply a lack of understanding intellectually?
Does Sin Still Matter?
Published: August 18, 2021Why would Jesus give the command, “Go and sin no more,” in John 8:11, if future sin is pardoned and freely embraced? And is future sin not effectively sin until it becomes established and is thus past? Is one’s own future sin to be lamented when free will is still available? Does grace truly received let us go forward though it’s misunderstood by the world? Or does grace abolish sin, even the future kind?
