Here Or Gone?

Published: February 3, 2017
Q

I was listing to someone who said that we Christians will be here when the anti-Christ comes on the scene because when he said “who has wisdom let him understand”, he was talking about the Church. I thought that would be talking about the tribulation saints, not us. So are we here or home with Jesus?

When Was Meat First Allowed?

Published: February 3, 2017
Q

I just started to reread the Bible and was surprised to find that we were not given the animals for food as I had understood for all these years:

Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. Gen. 1:29

When were we allowed to start eating meat?

Where Is Enoch?

Published: February 3, 2017
Q

There are some who say in Hebrews 11 that all died in faith having not receiving the promise etc and since Enoch was one of those who are in the list and that they all died in faith, that he wasn’t really taken off the earth by God. They say that he was taken somewhere for a time so he didn’t see others die, not that HE wouldn’t die. They also say that no flesh could go to heaven before Christ died and rose again.

I believe God took him and that he didn’t die. But if so, where would God have taken him? To heaven or to Abraham’s bosom? I don’t know how to answer the assumptions of the other folks above.

When Will The 10 Kingdoms Be Formed?

Published: January 30, 2017
Q

Re: A North American Kingdom. As I read your opinion of the days ahead regarding the legalization of illegals, it makes me not want to be around when we turn over our sovereignty. Also, I would think that it would take quite a bit of time for this North American Union to materialize…..unless something catastrophic were to happen on a world-wide scale. Do you see the rapture happening before these 10 kingdoms ever form?

Solving The Ezra Nehemiah Controversy

Published: January 12, 2017
Q

I was browsing through the Bible and I came across 2 chapters. Ezra and Nehemiah. Since I am an engineer and scientficly oriented, I was looking at some explanation about number of Israelites.

I read from Ezra 2:64 that there were a total of 42360 in number. So I counted all the numbers given starting in Ezra 2:3. Surprisingly, I found it’s only 29818.

I could not believe that there is a mathematical contradiction. I opened up Nehemiah Chap. 7. And the same thing is mentioned in 7:66 that there were 42360 in number. I hoped that this chapter will have no issues. So I counted the number starting from Nehemiah 7:8 onwards. I was surprised to see that it adds up to only 31089. Another contradiction.

So how can this book, which has obvious simple math contradictions, be followed. This book is of course NOT inspired by GOD (unless you believe that God can do mistakes!!!!).

Are They Being Foolish?

Published: January 5, 2017
Q

I know of a few people who are born again believers but who have gone back under the law, even though they are not Jewish. They practice all the laws and some men have become circumcised. The Holy Spirit has shown me that is not required of us, as has the bible. How does one show these people they are being foolish?

Is The Rapture Still 300 Years Away?

Published: January 5, 2017
Q

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your website. I pray for you, that you always teach God’s Truth with love in your heart. Thank you for so kindly answering my questions. I have another:

Today (a writer on another website) said that in Ezekiel God promised the Jews that in 3 days they would get their kingdom back and a thousand years is as a day and this was in about 600 BC so we’re halfway thru the 2nd millenium and the 3rd will be the promised millenium after the Tribulation – I think I’m explaining that right – so he says there should be about 300 more years til the rapture.

I like his articles, he seems like a knowledgeable and sincere Christian – I’m just a common saint. I look to people like you who are more learned than I to explain scripture – and I’ve read a lot of your articles including the ones about why the rapture is imminent. What do you make of what he said. His thinking is flawed, right? Could you explain why he’s wrong?

A Bible Based Church Without Prophecy?

Published: December 26, 2016
Q

I have a question about a church I am attending. It is a wonderful, Bible-based church, and after quite a search, I have settled down into it. What is holding me back from membership is that I noticed the Pastor never mentions the Rapture or end-time prophecy. He does say general statements such as “When the Lord returns,” but that is about it. I have searched high and low for a good, Bible-based church with loving people and I believe I have found it. I also would like to hear teaching on end times prophecy. What should I do?

When Did The Last Days Begin?

Published: December 22, 2016
Q

In Acts 2:17-21 Peter is quoting the prophet Joel about the last days. So, did the last days start during Peters time? Or was it later? How can we know we are not simply excited about big changes in society and calling it the end times? There were big changes going on during Peters time as well and yet he died without seeing the return of Christ. Might we simply be doing the same thing and are also destined to die without seeing Christs return?
