My question pertains to Daniel’s 70 weeks, particularly when and why the clock stopped at 69 weeks, according to Scriptures.

With the incident in the Gospels involving the demoniac in Gadera, I heard it taught once that there was a temple to Zeus near by that would have pigs sacrificed in it. It was said that, beside the fact that swine were unclean animals and they really shouldn’t have been raising them regardless of whether or not they ate them, Jesus was eliminating the sacrifice to Zeus. Do you know if this is so?

I have read your page and found it very interesting and I agree on most of what you said. And yet I have a question. Where on earth do you get Revelation 4 as the rapture of the Church? I have read Revelation many times and I read it again when I saw your comment on the rapture. What part of Rev 4 do you identify with the rapture?

Dan is listed in the Old Testament and I have read some commentary that the anti-christ might be from the tribe of Dan. I would like to know your views on this. I understand the typologies of many of the offerings in the book of Leviticus concerning Christ’s sacrifice for us. I have trouble understanding why they are to bring a female from the flock for a trespass offering. How does a female typify Christ?

What are some major signs of a church falling into apostasy? I ask because I fear the church my husband and I have been attending for over 7 years may be slipping in the Emergent/Seeker Friendly category. Most classes are now being taught from books associated with contemplative prayer and meditation. We have also introduced a class on intercessory prayer being taught from a book by a known false prophet. Based on what I have shared with you, and yes, there is more, would you say it’s time to move on or are we wrong in our observations?

I have two questions about John the Baptist, and how he was filled with the Holy Spirit in the womb. First, what prophecies were there about John in the Old Testament? And second, (and this makes me sound a bit anti God, I’m not, I just would like to know what you thought of this) – was it not a bit imposing of God to fill John with the Holy Spirit in the womb, involuntarily? My question is about “Faith Churches”. I attend a church like this and the way things are taught you would think we all should be rich, full of health and walking on easy street. It sounds great but if it was as easy as they say you wouldn’t be able to keep people out of churches.

They give these great sounding prophecies about how great everything is going to be (in my state or this country) and it never seems to come to pass. To be honest it makes me mad anymore hearing the prophecies because I don’t have faith that what they are saying will happen, and they are always asking for money. Again, if all I had to do was give so and so 10% and I’d be getting 100X back you couldn’t keep people from giving.
