Flee To The Mountains

Published: June 19, 2014
Q

My heart has been so heavy lately thinking about my friends and family who are too stubborn to believe in Jesus and His promises. It came to me that I might help them become saved before it was too late by describing the events of the 70th week and asking them “How many of these things would you have to see with your own eyes before you believe?”

My question is, if they do become saved after the rapture, can they then “Flee into the mountains” as somewhere to be protected until the end of the tribulation? Should this even be recommended to them? Or will they simply not make it there because it wasn’t meant for them, since they are not “those who are in Judea?”

A Torah Observant Christian?

Published: June 17, 2014
Q

A friend of mine describes herself as a “born again, Spirit filled, Torah observant, believer in Yeshua (Jesus).” Have you ever heard of this? I can’t help being intrigued, because I have such love and admiration for the Jewish people. Clearly my old friend believes in Jesus. But seems that anyone observing the Torah couldn’t possibly embrace grace and forgiveness through faith. I’m so confused… can you please help me unravel this?

How Can We Not Worry?

Published: June 17, 2014
Q

I know the word of God tells us not to be afraid and to not worry, but how do I and all other Christians not worry about the salvation of those we love since they have a free will to reject the Lord. This is the one area I just don’t know how to handle. So many family and friends don’t believe in God, and God won’t make anyone love him, so how do we not worry about them? Many people quote Acts 16:31 stating to “believe on Jesus and we shall be saved and thy house” as guaranteeing the salvation of our loved ones, but I don’t agree with that interpretation. I don’t believe there is a guarantee that our loved ones will be saved (accept the Lord), just that the Lord will pursue them as we pray fro them. So, how do I not worry?

Who Caused The Blindness?

Published: June 16, 2014
Q

We read that the Jews have been blinded in part. Who caused that blindness? God, so as to produce the Church and salvation for the Gentiles, or Satan so as to hinder God’s plan for the salvation of Israel?

Do Some Think It’s OK To Sin?

Published: June 16, 2014
Q

Why do some Christians turn away from sinful behavior and clean up their act, or try to, while other Christians think it’s okay to continue sinning because they are already saved? I hope you can shed some light on this matter for me.

World Wide Converts

Published: June 15, 2014
Q

When watching (one of the religious channels) I have heard ministers report worldwide increases in persons being saved. They even speak of Muslims being saved through dreams and other revelations. Is what they report true? Are there more people being saved worldwide than ever before, including pagans who worship other gods?
