Bringing food to new families
Several weeks ago, we were told of some families in an area north of us that are very much in need. We live in an area of great need during a normal year, and 2020 has more need than we’ve ever experienced.
At the beginning of lockdown, our main goal was to not let anyone starve on our watch. And God has moved mightily through you all! Hallelujah. I’ve been saying I’m beyond grateful for how you’ve heeded the prompting of the Lord this year, and given when others have hoarded. Some have given out of abundance and some out of lack, and God sees it all and honors it all! And someone asked me what is beyond gratitude?! And I have no idea, but that’s where I am! I’m filled with gratitude in a normal year, and so this year is even beyond. I feel like Paul in 1 Timothy 1:14 where he had to invent a new word to show how beyond abundant God’s grace is. Hyper abundant, superabundant, exceedingly abundant. That’s the gratitude that this year brings. Through so much pain, grief and division, and lack, God has been pouring out His exceedingly abundant grace upon us. Thank you for joining us in this!
Back to the new families we met! We were able to visit them this week and bring groceries. Those of you who are sponsoring them for Christmas will recognize their little faces! ♥
Please pray with us for this family, that they will see the love of Jesus poured out to them in our actions. ♥
Our school classes
Art time after classes! Our favorite part! We’ve been talking with the moms, they’re worried that with the stress of this year, their kids won’t be able to retain anything they learn. They’re worried that even with these classes they’ll be left behind. So we’re encouraging them, I’ll encourage you here, that God is bigger than all of this. He’ll see us through it, we will be faithful and do all we can, but our kids have the same Holy Spirit we do, and He can instruct them and lead them just as He does for us. We get the opportunity to show each day, do we really trust Him?

Thank you for your love, and your prayers for those we serve around the world! It’s absolutely amazing what happens when we come together and follow the Lord’s leading. I’m beyond grateful for you all!
