This week in Mexico 6-23-23

Here’s a glimpse of our week of outreaches in Mexico.

** Happy Monday everyone! I was delayed in getting all these published over the weekend, while we were helping little Miranda’s mom navigate the hard medical system here to get her ankle repaired. Details below! ♥

Pray with us for Sandi, Miranda’s mom

We’ve been working on getting the roof poured for this sweet family for some time now. And Thursday was the day! While helping get everything prepped, Miranda’s mom, Sandi, fell from a ladder and broke her ankle. It was a bad fall, and we waited for an ambulance in case she had neck or spine damage. But thankfully, only her ankle was damaged. At the first hospital, the doctor told her it was too badly damaged, the ankle was split in two and the tendons were severed. He told her she’d never walk on it again. He even graphically warned her that it would shrivel and be completely useless. So, we left and found another doctor. The Lord led us to the perfect one! He said he could operate and fix it and she is now home recovering. She’s in a lot of pain, please pray with us for the pain and for her healing and recovery. Also, I’ll have photos of the roof we got poured for them next week for you!

Delivering groceries to families in need

Last week we got our groceries packaged up and this week we began to delivery them to families in need.

Next stop the refugee camp

This is the largest single area we bring groceries to, and we always include treats for the kids!
