Reaching The Full Number

Published: December 24, 2010 (Originally published: December 23, 2010)
Q

If the fullness of the Gentiles being saved must arrive before the rapture occurs, what about all the people that are continually being born that need to be saved, how could the gentile number ever be final?

The Water Vapor Canopy

Q

Re: No More Sea. I have a question on the whole idea of a water vapor canopy. Where did you come up with this idea? It sounds plausible but did it come from the Word or another place?

Zechariah’s 2nd Vision

Published: December 24, 2010 (Originally published: December 23, 2010)
Q

I thank God for this web site and for the wisdom and insight that He has given you. Zechariah 1:18-20 speaks of four horns that “represent the nations that scattered Judah, Israel and Jerusalem.” Would this be a representation of the procession of nations envisioned by Daniel. (Daniel 7:2-7,15-17)? What might the blacksmiths represent, mentioned right after the four horns in verses 20-21?

Am I Saved?

Published: December 15, 2013 (Originally published: December 25, 2010)
Q

I wanted to know if an old pastor was right when he said that, because I don’t speak in tongues I’m not saved and am going to hell. I’ve prayed hundreds of times to speak in tongues but can’t, I feel useless and sometimes like just giving up, “not on God though as I love Him too much”. Can you please give me some advise and/or some comfort in this situation?”

Just The Facts Please

Published: November 19, 2014 (Originally published: December 25, 2010)
Q

I tell you, it’s so confusing with the various viewpoints of eschatology; preterist, futurist, premillennial, amillennial, postmillennial, pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib. Who knows what to think? It’s unfortunate there is so much fuzziness with interpretation of prophecy among Christ’s followers. Why can’t we all agree on the facts?

The Church In Heaven

Published: December 27, 2010 (Originally published: December 26, 2010)
Q

I listened to your commentary at the end of Revelation in regards to the New Earth. First, I understand that the church will reside in the New Jerusalem. But will we (the church) have the ability, right, or desire to interface with the New Earth and its inhabitants? And if the church is supposed to go to heaven to be with Jesus, then how can he set up shop in the New Earth at the same time? Jesus as flesh and blood can only be in one place at one time. How does that work? Finally, if the church is in heaven what point would there be to have a physical glorified body? Why not just have spirit?

Abraham’s Seed

Published: December 27, 2010 (Originally published: December 26, 2010)
Q

My husband keeps asking me where did the gentiles come from if we are all from Abraham’s seed. I am really having a hard time explaining it to him. I told him the Jews are from Abraham, but he wants to know where we are from since we should have the same dna from Abraham. Can you please help me explain this?

Like A Thief In The Night

Published: December 15, 2013 (Originally published: December 15, 2010)
Q

Why would Jesus say He would come as a “thief” in the night and not use another analogy? To me this is odd. Why not use something like I will come unexpectedly like a person to the market when the market is closed? To me a thief is someone who does something illegal, one who is a criminal. Or has the word thief been translated in a wrong way over the many years?

How Can Jesus And God Be The Same?

Published: December 17, 2010 (Originally published: December 16, 2010)
Q

Thank you for your Godly wisdom in answering our questions. Your site is the highlight of my day. I have become friends with a young lady who attends my church and who has told me she is not saved. Her question to me this past Sunday was how can God also be Jesus? What would be a good answer to a non-believer who hasn’t a clue, but one who is genuinely seeking answers?
