Falling Away In Testing?
Published: August 17, 2022I have a question regarding the parable of the seed sower in Luke 8:5-9. The group mentioned in the third example, those who accept it then fall away in testing is the one that gets to me. Who are they, and what does it mean? I thought one could not fall away and believe it. But sometimes I fall into sin and this part comes up and I get worried.
Can He Give It Back?
Published: August 16, 2022As a follow up to OSAS and Galatians 5, is it possible for a believer to voluntarily surrender his or her salvation? I have a brother-in-law who got saved and left the Catholic church many years ago, then recently returned to Catholicism because now he believes he has to have the sacraments to be saved. Other members of the family believe he may have lost his salvation. How can I explain to them that he has not?
Overcoming Sexual Sin
Published: August 16, 2022I believe that Jesus died to pay the penalty for my sins. I have confessed I am a sinner and try to repent of my sins but the only really big sin I can’t seem to stop is sexual sin. I don’t have sex with anyone in real life but I fantasize about it almost constantly. I am a computer addict and have “cyber sex” occasionally and look at pics of naked people. I cannot seem to stop this behavior. I have asked Jesus to help me and He did help me to stop my hourlong fantasies at bedtime but I still have impure thoughts. What can I do?
Lay Down And Roll Over, Or Stand Up?
Published: August 16, 2022I have a question for you that I’ve asked many others about and have never gotten a real answer.
Where and in what manner did Jesus draw the line between “turning the other cheek” and standing up for oneself?
I mean, if I break into your house, kill your dog and child, rape your wife, and attempt to slit your throat, I don’t think the first words out of your mouth would be “I know you are struggling with sin and I’m praying for you”. Granted this is an extreme case.
I know Jesus said that we are to submit to authority. But does that mean any and all authority no matter from whence it cometh? What If that authority can proclaim its “power” only through deception, illegitimacy, ignorance of the people, or fiat decree? i know you’re well versed in the insidious goings on in this country and world and you know all the alphabet soup gangs just make everything up as they go along and if the law happens to accidentally support their position so much the better.
So when am I required to stand up for myself or family and when am I supposed to “just get over it, Jesus is coming soon and in the end, it’ll all come out in the wash anyway.”

Fulfilling The Fall Feasts
Published: August 15, 2022Today I heard the argument that Jesus will fulfill all of the fall feasts in the same year just like he fulfilled the spring feasts the first time. Do we have any evidence that trumpets will be separated from Yom Kippur by 7 years? Man, I do not want to be here through the Great Day of the Lord. I’m praying he will settle my heart with this. I really feel there is much more evidence for pre trib but this bothers me.
Respect For Celestial Beings
Published: August 15, 2022The archangel Michael “dared not” bring a “railing accusation” against Satan. He spoke politely and commended him to God to deal with him. Yet, I have heard/read Christian ministers speak harshly, rudely, to curse and abuse and rail against, Satan. Why did the mighty Michael not dare to accuse Satan openly? What were the dynamics of that interaction? By the same token, how was the Prince of Persia able to withstand the Archangel, the messenger sent by Almighty God Himself, for 21 days? These are powerful beings. What should be the attitude of a Christian toward Satan, himself? How does God instruct us about that?

Confessing Our Sins
Published: August 12, 2022Not too long ago, I suffered an emotional breakdown and had to be hospitalized temporarily. Since that time many of my past sins have surfaced in my memory. I am a believer and know all my sins have been forgiven. But I am heavily burdened by these sins and I want to confess them to someone. Who should I ask to hear my confession?
Do The Things You Did At First
Published: August 11, 2022I can look back over my Christian life and can see how much I’ve grown in my knowledge of scripture. But recently, I’ve noticed that there is something missing now. I prayed about it and God revealed that it is my intimacy with Him that’s missing. I can remember when I was younger in the faith and didn’t know as much as I have learned over the years, but I was so passionate and Christ felt as close as ever! Now I’m not even sure how to get that passion and intimacy back. It feels as if I’m at a standstill. I confess my sins daily. What do you think? How do I get that closeness back with my Savior?
