When Jesus says that he is the vine and that all who do not produce fruit are cut off and thrown into the fire what did he mean by this? Does it mean if we are not able to produce fruit for God then we aren’t saved?

Regarding Luke 2:13-15. The last sentence of verse 15 reads, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” When did the Lord tell the shepherds about going to Bethlehem etc? Did the angels tell them or Did they know from reading the scriptures?

In Matthew chapter 5 Jesus was explaining the physical sins of adultery, murder, etc. Then He explained that even if a man thinks these in his heart he has committed these sins. Was Jesus teaching us to live more purely or was He teaching us that it is impossible to live a sinless life and we need a savior?

Can you help me to understand what happens to the people that lived before Abraham? I understand the difference between the Church and Israel and even the nations as it pertains to end times but where do the Old Testament people before Abraham fit in? Will there be babies in Heaven? Old people? Young people? I once read a comment from a man who said that he believed we would all be the age that Jesus was when he was crucified. When Jesus was born there was a king called Herod who wanted him dead but when Jesus was on trail Pilate sent him to Herod. I thought Herod died after Jesus was born.

In your article about miscarriage, you wrote, “The Bible says life begins at conception (Psalm 139:13-14) and children under the age of understanding have eternal life (Romans 7:9).” I fail to understand how Romans 7:9 has anything to say about the age of children, or their understanding. Please explain.

I have a few questions that have been bugging me. They are really getting between me and my faith. This is one of them. Jesus was God’s perfect follower, and perfect role model representation for us. How come He questioned God on the cross. ‘WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME???’ If he was this perfect follower how come he questioned God?

Re: Does He Want To Be Saved. So if a lost tribe in Africa has never heard the Gospel you are saying they get a pass on God’s judgment? My 2 sons have always been tripped up by this very question and I have never heard it answered this way.
