What Do We Have to Believe About Jesus?

Published: April 22, 2022
Q

What do we have to believe about the traits of Jesus Himself (God, sinless, etc.) for our belief and trust in his atonement to be valid. For example, how could His death on the cross pay for our sins if He was not the perfect Son of God?

Looking Upon Satan

Q

Do you think we’ll see Satan in Heaven, when we’re Raptured? That would be interesting to see the transaction between God and Satan. I’m curious to see what he really looks like. What’s your opinion?

The Holy Spirit In Daniel’s 70th Week

Published: April 21, 2022
Q

I have looked up several translations and versions of 2 Thessalonians 2:7. Some refer to the person as he and some as He. I guess regardless whether he be the church or the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will be out of the way. My question is where will the Holy Spirit be during this time? And will He return during the Millennium to convict men’s hearts again?

Preaching The Gospel In Every Language

Q

I have been reading your site for years and have learned very much. I am thankful for your time in researching, preparing, and posting as I know it is time-consuming. My question is this. At our church they are continuously saying that the Lord will not return until the word is taught in every tongue, meaning for every people group in the world. Some nations have hundreds of people groups. This isn’t required before the rapture is it?

Forgiveness, Follow Up

Re: Forgiveness. Great article! Does it mean we have to forgive even if the person knows what they did and doesn’t care?

Understanding Psalm 8

Published: April 20, 2022
Q

I get so excited when I receive my Grace thru faith e-mails. We were discussing Psalm 8 in our SS class and were divided on verse 4 concerning the son of man. Some thought it referred to man (because of son not being capitalized) and others to Christ when he will reign. What is your opinion? Maybe both?

Why Let Them Be Born?

Published: April 19, 2022
Q

Something has always confused me. Example: God selected Saul to be Israel’s first king but God must have known Saul would become disobedient even causing his own death and the death of his three sons. Why would God select Saul to be Israel’s king knowing this would happen? Also, why would a loving God let people be born He knows are going to hell? Why not prevent the birth of people God knows will never want Him? Are these questions that are not answerable while we are here on Earth? At one time in my life I was very angry with God for allowing so much suffering but I’ve come a place where I must believe God is just and a loving God but that since I am human there is a great deal I can’t understand even if I wanted to.

Why Do We Still Sin?

Published: April 19, 2022
Q

The Bible says that when one receives Christ as their savior, that God is gracious to forgive us of all our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. That seems absolute in its wording, but I am still left with two questions. The first is why do we continue to sin after we are saved? and second, are there any sins for which we can not be forgiven after becoming saved?

The reason I ask these questions is that a young man at my daughter’s Christian school took his own life. God, being all-knowing, had to know this was going to happen. If this young man was saved, would God have already forgiven this particular sin in advance?

The Language Of Heaven

Published: April 18, 2022
Q

I am anxious to see every post and article that you write! A friend of my daughters asked me to ask you about what language we will be speaking in heaven? And if we would all be the same language? And will we be able to understand the language of the Holy Spirit? (Sorry that’s 3 questions.)

Why Don’t They See It?

Published: April 18, 2022
Q

I went to a website where a Jewish teacher is encouraging Jews to return to Judaism, he doesn’t believe Jesus is the Messiah. He was well versed and gave many scriptures {his interpretation} to back up his beliefs. I’ve been studying the Old Testament and can see Jesus throughout the entire word. Why do some still not accept him? I must say he shook me a bit with his commentaries especially since he knows the Torah so well. However, I do believe Jesus is the Messiah and felt bad that I allowed that to get to me. Could you give your thoughts?
