If He Already Knew, Why Was He Sorry?
Published: June 22, 2021Gen. 6:6 says, “And the Lord was sorry He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.” I am so perplexed by this statement. God, being omniscient, had fore-knowledge of everything. So why was He sorry He had made man knowing what they would do? Being a parent, I can understand the grief in His heart.
Suffering Like David?
Published: June 21, 2021King David suffered some consequences of his sins. He should have been stoned for adultery and murder. Why didn’t he suffer the full judgment of his consequences? I am now suffering consequences of my adultery. I am praying that I change from the inside out and I am seeking personal transformation. Also I have been praying for a miracle that my marriage will survive. I keep getting told that there is no condemnation in Christ, and that I am forgiven, and that Jesus will comfort me and provide for me, but I am still to suffer the consequences of my actions. No one seems to speak about a miracle from Jesus to heal my marriage that has been damaged by my actions. Is there a miracle for me and my family?
Is Israel Also The Bride?
Published: June 21, 2021It is my understanding that the wedding between Christ and His bride (the church) will take place shortly after the rapture. Since Israel will not recognize Christ as their Messiah until after the rapture, and since God still obviously loves his chosen people, will they too be considered part of “the bride” in the millennial kingdom, or will only those who were raptured hold that title?
How Did People Get Into Heaven Before Jesus?
Published: June 21, 2021How did people get into heaven before Christ came and died for us? I understand salvation thru Jesus, but what about the time before Jesus?
The Gentiles, The Jews, And The Church
Published: June 18, 2021If the Jewish people descended from Abraham then where did the Gentiles come from? Genesis 11:8 tells of scattering all the people and changing their languages. Were all of these people the Gentiles?
Can Prophets Be Wrong?
Published: June 18, 2021According to 1st Corinthians 13:9, Paul speaks of “prophesying in part” and many people today point to that as justification for the many “prophecies” today being way off or completely wrong. Personally I don’t see that as being correct, and Deuteronomy speaks specifically of prophets having to be 100% correct or face dire consequences. Do you see justification for the many “prophets” today being wrong? Can we trust those people to be speaking for God?
He Who Sits On The Throne
Published: June 18, 2021My question is concerning Revelation chapter 4 verses 2 and 3.
Rev 4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. Rev 4:3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
Who is the one who sits upon the throne? Is this Jesus? If it is, how does it fit with these verses in chapter 5?
Rev 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Rev 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
If the one on the throne is Jesus, and we know that the lamb is Jesus, how does Jesus take the scroll from Himself? If the one on the throne is not Jesus, is it God the Father? If so, how is John able to look upon Him? Any help you could give to this matter would be most appreciated.
Could David Lose The Holy Spirit?
Published: June 16, 2021I was reading Psalm 51 and noting that in vs 11 David prays that the Lord take not His Holy Spirit from him. Since David was not part of the church, did he have a legitimate fear of losing his relationship with the Lord (in other words his salvation)?
Who Did Adam And Eve Walk With?
Published: June 7, 2021My question pertains to who walked with Adam and Eve in the Garden. Was it God the Father? And if so, how can we reconcile that with no one ever seeing God? I feel a little stumped. I can understand if it was the pre-incarnate Christ but just want to make sure I am correct!!
Please Explain The Rapture
Published: May 28, 2021I’ve never heard any pastor, layman or brethren explain fully the rapture. When it is explained it’s always in ethereal terms and without a whole lot of sense. I’ve of a mind it’s not something we can regulate with the many varieties of explanations currently being taught. Hence, I’ve been skeptical of this phrase as well as the whole concept. Would you like to give me your explanation?
