Evening And Morning
Published: June 25, 2021In Genesis 1 my Bible says, “And the evening and the morning were the first day,” and so forth for all the days of creation. Is there a reason that evening comes first? I thought maybe it’s because the day actually starts at 12 midnight. Your thoughts on this would be appreciated.
The Basis For Our Belief
Published: June 25, 2021God revealed himself to people in OT times by super natural things (fire, cloud, burning bushes, etc). In NT times until present it seems that God does not reveal himself supernaturally anymore. I have heard it said that God revealed himself in three parts as the holy trinity. The first was God the father as the super natural, the second was God the Son Jesus as a literal human, and finally God the Spirit as in the day of Pentecost until now. Maybe its where I live or the times (or maybe something else) but it seems harder and harder to see or hear God. Could you share your ideas about this?
Who Did Jesus Pray To?
Published: June 24, 2021Can you help me answer this question for the Jehovah Witnesses? I know Jesus is the Son of God, and I also know and believe with all my heart that Jesus is the God of the Old Testament. Jehovah God. Jehovah Witnesses have sometimes asked me the following: “If Jesus is God – then who did He pray to?” Can you please help me with a simple answer?
Does Israel Include All Believers?
Published: June 24, 2021Could it be possible that when God speaks of Israel He means all of God’s people that believe in him and try to follow in His foot steps?
Old Testament Vs. New Testament
Published: June 24, 2021A friend of mine told me that I could ask you biblical questions and get a good answer. my question is this: There is a lot of violence in the old testament like the slaughter of baal’s prophets that God said was ok but in the new testament He tells us that violence is never ok and that we should love our enemy. It just seems like there was a huge change between the new and old testaments.
Tired Of Waiting
Published: June 23, 2021I’ve been telling people about the Rapture and the “end times” ever since I first read Hal Lindsey’s book “The Late Great Planet Earth” 38 years ago. I’m tired of the Christians among my family and friends who have heard me for all these years and now laugh whenever I say something about current events and Bible prophecy. These are all good Christians who believe in Jesus but just aren’t interested in Bible prophecy. It’s not just that they don’t believe it, they think it’s all centuries away. I’ve lost the excitement of waiting for His return. I really thought the Rapture would have come before now.
Still More On Post Church Salvation
Published: June 23, 2021Recently there was an article on another website having to do with tribulation saints losing their salvation. The author disagreed with your position and gave an unfavorable critique of one of your articles in doing so. Would you care to comment?
Our Heart’s Desire
Published: June 23, 2021I received teachings from bible passage in Hebrews 8 & 10 that God will put His laws in our minds and hearts so that we would follow them. So can believers today depend on our hearts’ desires to help us make decisions in life (since the Bible says he has written His laws in our heart), is this interpretation Biblically correct?
What Can We Do?
Published: June 22, 2021You’ve made it clear you don’t think 2 Chronicles 7:14 was meant for the United States. Are we just supposed to sit by and watch our country go down the tubes? Isn’t there anything we can do?
If He Already Knew, Why Was He Sorry?
Published: June 22, 2021Gen. 6:6 says, “And the Lord was sorry He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.” I am so perplexed by this statement. God, being omniscient, had fore-knowledge of everything. So why was He sorry He had made man knowing what they would do? Being a parent, I can understand the grief in His heart.
