Published: March 30, 2022
Q

As Christians are we to celebrate Passover in like manner as the Jews, instead of Resurrection Sunday, so called Easter? Or is Passover for the Jews only?

No Sex In Heaven?

Published: March 30, 2022
Q

You said that there is no sex in Heaven because there is no procreation, however, there is much more to sex than procreation. I can’t imagine going through eternity without the intimacy my wife and I have. The physical contact of cuddling, caressing and our intimate conversations. When we go to Heaven are we to be denied the love that we had for our partner in this life?

Incontinent?

Published: March 29, 2022
Q

I have a question about the meaning of the word “incontinent” with regard to this being one of the characteristics people will exhibit during the last days. Does it refer to the inability to control the urge to urinate, or is there a different meaning when the word is used in scripture? If the meaning is in the conventional sense, how is that relevant? Thank you for enlightening me.

The Holy Spirit In The World

Published: March 29, 2022
Q

The Bible says that when Jesus ascended back to heaven, the Holy Spirit came to earth to act as the comforter to God’s people. Also I understand that He restrains evil till He is removed at the rapture. Knowing this, are we to assume that the earth was only evil completely lacking in love and understanding before the Holy Spirit arrived on the scene?

Jewish Old Testament Vs. Christian Old Testament

Q

I’ve been giving a Jewish woman at work some of the questions and prophecy studies from your site and a question came up that I couldn’t answer. Is our Old Testament the same as theirs?

The Four Rivers Of Eden

Q

I am studying in the book of Genesis. Can you give me any insight into the river that went out of Eden, and was parted and became four heads, Pishon, Gihon, Hiddekel, and Euphrates? Are there Spiritual and or literal interpretations?

Peter And The Rock

Q

I greatly appreciate your responses to the question asked of you. I was raised Catholic, and know that the Catholic church claims Jesus made Peter the first pope. I know the passage they refer to as their proof of this, but can find no basis for believing that to be the correct interpretation of this passage. How would you respond to this claim?

On a Day Unknown

Published: March 15, 2022
Q

I read your article where you explain how Matthew 24:36-50 is not about the rapture, and I have to say that what you wrote makes absolute sense. I have a question about Matt. 24:36, 42, 44, 50 and Matt. 25:13. They clearly state that the day and the hour of the 2nd coming are not known. But the length of the Great Tribulation will be known and then the Lord will return. You mention a period of time between the end of the tribulation and the 2nd coming of Christ. Is this spoken or taught in other parts of the Bible? Or is it just a conclusion you reached by analyzing the scriptures which say that nobody knows the day or the hour?

OSAS And Sexual Sin

Published: March 15, 2022
Q

I know you’re a firm believer in OSAS. I had an uncle who preached the gospel in his church, led many to God over the years, had a great testimony in the church and community. Somewhere along the way, he fell into a grievous sexual sin. He got found out, left the church, walked away from God. He made fun of those who continued to follow God. Are you telling me that he was saved and when he died he went to heaven?

Public Confession

Published: March 14, 2022
Q

I have confessed my sins to God and repent and grieve over committing sins I fully knew were sins. I’ll admit He already knew them anyway. I can certainly understand confessing adultery to a spouse because he/she is the one sinned against. But what about other sins like abortion or pornography? Do you publicly tell your family members in order to confess?
