Satan’s Expulsion, Follow Up
Published: March 23, 2022In ‘When is Satan’s expulsion’ you reply: Thousands of years after Adam and Eve had their encounter with Satan, he can be seen in Heaven contesting with God over the righteousness of Job (Job 1:6-7). I thought that Job was one of the very earliest books to be written so I would like a clarification on ‘thousands of years after’.
When Is Satan’s Expulsion?
Published: March 22, 2022I wish to thank you all involved with Grace Thru Faith. It is the best Bible-based website going. My question brings up something you’ve covered before. I think you said Satan will be exiled from heaven during the Trib. My grandson believes he was exiled from heaven at the time of Adam and Eve. Please clarify.
What Is The Sign Of Jonah?
Published: March 22, 2022“A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah. And he left them, and departed.” Matthew 16:4. For as Jonah was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.” Luke 11:30.
Can you give me an explanation of what exactly is the Sign of Jonah?
Confused
Published: March 22, 2022I was reading the admonitions in the Bible to avoid believers who are sexually immoral, or who regularly eat or drink to excess, practice idolatry or greed, are swindlers, foul mouthed, gossipers, or verbally abusive (1 Cor 5:11, Ephe 4:29). In this way we help them see that such behavior is sin. I’m very confused by this passage.
Satan’s Fall And The Creation
Published: March 21, 2022In one of your articles you said you believe Satan’s fall occurred between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2, causing a judgment that ruined Earth, and the six day creation account really begins in Genesis 1:3. But in Exodus 20:11 God said He made the heavens and the Earth, the sea and all that’s in them in six days. It looks to me like this contradicts your opinion. Would you care to explain this?
The Laborers In The Vineyard
Published: March 21, 2022My question this morning has to do with the parable in Matthew 20:1-16, the Laborers in the Vineyard. Mathew 20:16 says “So the last shall be first, and the first last.” Is this talking about the Gentiles being accepted first, then the Jews into the Kingdom of God?
Does God Heal Gradually?
Published: March 21, 2022I have a friend who believes that you should not speak with your mouth that you are sick or have a problem because that confirms it and it will be so. She says to pray for healing and start saying that you are well even though the symptoms are still there. She says that it may take a few days for the healing to take place but that God will heal you if you have faith and continue to claim the healing. I always think of God healing someone instantly and completely not over a period of time. I am wrong in my thinking? Does God sometimes heal gradually?
On a Day Unknown
Published: March 15, 2022I read your article where you explain how Matthew 24:36-50 is not about the rapture, and I have to say that what you wrote makes absolute sense. I have a question about Matt. 24:36, 42, 44, 50 and Matt. 25:13. They clearly state that the day and the hour of the 2nd coming are not known. But the length of the Great Tribulation will be known and then the Lord will return. You mention a period of time between the end of the tribulation and the 2nd coming of Christ. Is this spoken or taught in other parts of the Bible? Or is it just a conclusion you reached by analyzing the scriptures which say that nobody knows the day or the hour?
OSAS And Sexual Sin
Published: March 15, 2022I know you’re a firm believer in OSAS. I had an uncle who preached the gospel in his church, led many to God over the years, had a great testimony in the church and community. Somewhere along the way, he fell into a grievous sexual sin. He got found out, left the church, walked away from God. He made fun of those who continued to follow God. Are you telling me that he was saved and when he died he went to heaven?
Public Confession
Published: March 14, 2022I have confessed my sins to God and repent and grieve over committing sins I fully knew were sins. I’ll admit He already knew them anyway. I can certainly understand confessing adultery to a spouse because he/she is the one sinned against. But what about other sins like abortion or pornography? Do you publicly tell your family members in order to confess?
