Has Isaiah 17 Been Fulfilled?
Published: April 21, 2015I was preaching the other day about the Rapture when the Lord gave me an insight regarding Isaiah 17. He said: please notice that Damascus has been nearly destroyed and will not return to be a city anymore. I just met with an Arab friend who went there and he confirmed that. I understand it is the fulfillment of Isaiah 17 that occurred just in front of our eyes (not in the real sense because it didn’t appear on TV). What do you think?
Do Believers Sin Or Not?
Published: April 21, 2015I have someone who struggles understanding scripture about being a born again Believer and still wrestling with sin! They have read 1 John 3:9-10 and according to the verses it sounds like a born again believer cannot sin and if someone does sin they are not born again! Can you clarify these scripture and the sin issues people wrestle with as believers!
Trampled On By the Gentiles
Published: April 21, 2015I’m wondering if “the generation” that sees the event mentioned in Matt. 24:34 actually started with 1948 and Israel once again being declared a nation or in 1967 began when Jerusalem was recaptured by the Jews. So much of prophecy seem centered on Jerusalem itself; couldn’t this have been the “clock starter mentioned in Matt 24:34?
Struggling With sin
Published: April 20, 2015I struggle with a particular sin that seems to have a stronghold on me. I commit this particular sin because I like it. I know it is wrong but I do it anyway… because I like it. After I commit this sin I feel guilty and remorseful. I repent and ask God to forgive me only to go right back and do it again. It’s as if there are two of me warring against each other. It has become a vicious cycle. Sometimes it seems like I’m fighting a losing battle. I’m so frustrated!
Is There Life Before Life?
Published: April 20, 2015Jeremiah 1:5 states the Lord knew Jeremiah before He formed him in the womb. Are there any more verses in scripture that show we were with God in spirit form before we were born?
Between The Rapture And Daniel’s 70th Week
Published: April 20, 2015A well known author recently wrote that “The one factor that is a big unknown is the amount of time that will elapse between the Rapture of the church and the signing of the covenant that will initiate the seven years of Tribulation.” To help me, can I just clarify your understanding of the Pre-Trib position on this matter? Surely the Rapture immediately triggers the Tribulation or have I misunderstood?
Israel And The Fig Tree
Published: April 20, 2015I have always believed that Jesus was using the fig tree to symbolize Israel being reborn in Matt.24:32-34. But then Jesus said, “and when you see these things come to pass, know that my coming is near, even at the doors.” Things is plural and not singular. So Jesus could be describing many things (as in “birth pangs”) & not just the rebirth of Israel. But when do the birth pangs begin? Also, if you look at Luke’s version of the fig tree parable, he says “fig tree and all the trees.” This is very confusing because no one can accurately say when the birth pangs started and therefore cannot determine, within any reasonable space of time, when “this generation” begins or ends. Can you clarify this?
Who Is Being Blotted Out Of The Book?
Published: April 19, 2015Re: Psalm 69:28. If God knows the end from the beginning, Alpha and Omega, and we are predestined to His call and our names our reserved til that time when we confirm our reservation in His Lamb’s Book of Life and are sealed, who is blotted out?
Name Those Angels
Published: April 19, 2015My question is a two part one. First, exactly how many Archangels are there? Besides Michael and Gabriel, the only other one that I’m aware of is Raphael, and very little mention is made of him. Is there any particular reason why this is so?
Thoughts On Col. 1:19
Published: April 19, 2015I am hoping for some insight from you on Colossians 1:19. Do you believe this refers to the heavenly battle (as I do) with the angels and is this reconciliation and peace a forgiveness of some angels or the judgment of them or am I completely off the mark altogether?
