Can we Lose Our Salvation? Follow Up

Published: January 30, 2015
Q

Re: “Can We Lose Our Salvation Through Disobedience” In your response about the fear of losing one’s salvation, I have a question. My understanding is if we fear that we can loose our salvation then we are trusting in ourselves and not in God’s provision. Therefore we are not truly saved because we are in essence trusting only in ourselves and not in God for our salvation. The fear of doing something that would loose our salvation is depending on our own works to save us and not trusting in God to save us. So I consider people who believe they can loose their salvation are not really saved at all. Please help me with this if it is incorrect.

Who Will Repopulate the Planet?

Published: January 29, 2015
Q

Can you please provide some clarification regarding what remnant of the surviving Tribulation population will go on to repopulate the planet after the Second Coming? Will it be those who come to faith during the Tribulation and survive, will it be those who are unbelieving until Christ’s return, or will it be a combination of both? We are a little confused as to whether the surviving Tribulation believers will be residing in the New Jerusalem with the returning saints, or living on the out skirts repopulating the planet and if so, how will they be differentiated from those who did not believe until they actually see Yeshua’s appearance?

The 144,000 And The 2 Witnesses

Published: January 29, 2015
Q

I am confused about the 144,000 and the two witnesses. Which one came first, the two witnesses, did they witness to the 144,000? Or did the 144,000 witness the to the two witnesses? Will these two witnesses preach during the last half of the Tribulation? Will the 144,000 have any ministry during the last half of the Tribulation?

Hell, Faith, And The Rapture

Published: January 29, 2015
Q

I have a question on the limited rapture theory. I do not believe that people will be left behind because of sin. However, what about based on faith? Hebrews 11:5-6 is about believing that God rewards those who believe in Him. The reason I question this is because there are many people that are outright against the rapture. My in-laws believe in Jesus and claim to believe in the Bible but they also say those who believe in a rapture will go to hell. They base this on a teaching by a televangelist they really like.

Can We Lose Our Salvation Through Disobedience?

Published: January 29, 2015
Q

There are people today in the Church Age who truly believe they are saved by grace and not of works, but “fear” and think they can lose their salvation by disobedience. I know all other believers from the Old Testament, Tribulation, and Millennial times will have to do works/obey in order to show they are believers. The Church Age is the exception, but can Church Age believers cancel out their salvation by being afraid they can lose it?

Will Israel Be Driven From Their Land Again?

Published: January 29, 2015
Q

My friend was asking my thoughts on a topic that came up during a men’s bible study of Jeremiah. Evidently there are some who believe that Israel will once again be removed from there land. I find that difficult to believe. As I was not at that particular study, I don’t know what verse or verses were used to justify that position (but it did come from Jeremiah). Have you ever hear of this?

Are We Watchmen?

Published: January 28, 2015
Q

Does Ezekiel 33:1-9 mean we are to speak up when we see wicked things and warn or hold accountable the person involved in such things, or we will answer for their death? So if we remain silent, this is a sin?

Am I Worthy To Serve?

Published: January 28, 2015
Q

Perhaps you can advise me. I have carried a minister’s license for a lot of years, but have never used it to preach, although I am accused of being preachy. A lot of those years I have felt that I have been called to help spread the word. I currently reside in the Philippines and feel there is a need to fill and that I could fill it with the Holy Spirit guiding. The problem is I am a sinner. Not a terrible sinner. I was a lot worse but God has cleaned me up pretty well. Even so, I can’t seem to overcome the feeling of unworthiness because of the sins I still commit. I know where to find forgiveness for my weakness but still lack to courage to preach. Is this Satan working in me to stop me from sharing my blessings or am I just putting too much me in the equation? Your opinion would be appreciated.

How Many Trumpets Are There Before The Last One?

Published: January 28, 2015
Q

Re: 1 Corinthians 15:51-53. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed– in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.

So when it says “at the last trump” how many trumpet sounds will there be before it, making it the last trump? No wonder Rosh Hashana is associated with the Rapture.

Sheep And Goats, National Or Personal?

Published: January 28, 2015
Q

I think I understand all the judgments as to when and where they will occur and who will be involved. However, I am having a problem determining exactly what is the judgment of the nations. Is it in conjunction with the Sheep and Goat judgment? Is it called the judgment of the nations because all the people living at the end of the Great Tribulation from their various nations will be called to this judgment? I know that whole nations, as well as individuals, have been judged by the way they have treated the Jewish people. Will whole nations be judged or just on an individual basis within these nations? Thank you for the time you spend answering our questions. It has certainly been a blessing to me.
