False Teachers?

Published: October 25, 2014
Q

If people say they believe in Jesus as John 6:29 states, “believe in the one He has sent” but then turn around and deny God’s promises to Israel, or Bible prophecy, would they be examples of Jesus saying “I never knew you?” There are several teachers I’m aware of who claim Jesus as their Savior, and I think in their heart, they really believe Jesus is the Son of God. But then they turn other parts of the Bible around to suit their own opinions. Are they considered to be false teachers?

The Queen Of Heaven

Published: October 25, 2014
Q

Who are the Queen of Heaven, Queen of Sheba and Queen of the South, who Jesus spoke of in Matt. 12:39-42? I understand that the Catholics pray to Mary as the queen of heaven, but I have never read any scripture that conveys that she should be prayed to or considered the queen of heaven. One thing I read suggested that the queen of the south and the queen of Sheba are the same person. If you could just clear up who these people/persons are, that would be great.

Millennial Saints

Published: October 24, 2014
Q

After the judgments that follow the Second Coming, believing survivors from the Great Tribulation will go into the Millennial Kingdom in their natural state and have children. Of those millions of children, some will believe and be saved; others will not. During the thousand years, many believers and nonbelievers will die. What will happen to their souls after death? They can’t go to the New Jerusalem. So, where will they be until the Great White Throne resurrection and judgment?

Eagerness And Urgency

Q

I read world news morning and evening on Christian and conservative sites. The news is so dreadful I have a picture of me staring out the window of a runaway train. The feeling I’m left with is sadness and excitement. Here’s the problem, there are birth pangs going on all around me and I’m wondering if I have an unhealthy frame of mind as I look at my self and think … “you’re pessimistic and maybe even a bit morbid in you’re anxious awaiting for another one.” Do you get a sense that others are like me? Do you ever have this same uncomfortable feeling?

Multiple Raptures?

Published: October 23, 2014
Q

You say that there is only one rapture, but Rev. 7:9 seems to indicate an additional rapture at approx. pre-wrath. And for a long time I’ve been saying there are multiple biblical raptures which includes OT prophets, Jesus, the Church, newly saved tribbers, two witnesses, the 144000, and finally everybody for the White Throne Judgement. Can you clear this up for me?

The First Resurrection

Published: October 22, 2014
Q

Why does Rev. 20:5 say that this is the first resurrection?

Would this be a correct:

1) Those who died before Jesus died, and were right with God, – they have already received their glorified bodies. (Elijah and Moses were recognized when Jesus was transfigured. Although Elijah didn’t die, Moses did.)

2) Those who died after Christ was resurrected, and are saved, will be resurrected at the time of the Rapture.

3) Those who are beheaded during the tribulation are resurrected at the beginning of the millennium (Rev. 20:5)

4) After the millennium, all those who rejected Christ are resurrected for judgment.

Also, does anyone die during the millennium, – and if so, when would they be resurrected?

Many thanks for your time. I have been trying to sort this out for awhile.

Simultaneous Or Sequential?

Published: October 22, 2014
Q

Would you please clarify a part of the following two verses from 1 Thessalonians KJV?

4:16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 4:17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Does the shout of the Lord himself, the voice of the archangel, and the trump of God occur simultaneously, or are they sequential in nature, thereby initiating the Rapture of the Church?

I realize that these things happen in a split second, so perhaps my question is moot.

The Last One Saved

Published: October 22, 2014
Q

My daughter and I were discussing two statements in the Bible, one about “the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled” in Luke 21:24 and the other one is Romans 11:25, “when the fullness of the Gentiles be come in”. That that means there is ONE person who will be the final Gentile to be saved, and I believe this means before the rapture. If so, then it would appear that NO Gentile will be saved during the tribulation. If that is the case, are all the tribulation saints that are killed Jewish? Does that mean any Christians in name only who will be left behind at the rapture would not have any possibility of getting saved during the tribulation as possibly indicated by 2 Thess. 2:11-12?

What Is Revival?

Published: October 22, 2014
Q

How do you define a true revival? I believe the instructions Jesus gave us in Matthew 28: 18-20 is the foundation for a revival. A pastor had a three day crusade last weekend and over 11,000 people made commitments to the Lord. His message was the good news of what Jesus did for us on the cross, turning our lives over to Jesus and belief in Jesus, repentance, and salvation. He spread the good news as Jesus instructed in Matthew 28 and then, the gift of the Holy Spirit took over and began to change lives. I would consider this a mini revival. I believe many in the church today are too focused on “spirituality” and who has the higher or highest level of spirituality compared to their fellow Christian. Many in the church today consider revival as a new place of depth or brokenness before the Lord for believers, or perhaps, a higher level of spirituality for believers than that already given by the gift of the Holy Spirit to a born again Christian.

Must The Church Be Physically Removed?

Published: October 20, 2014
Q

Is there a reason why the Church must be physically removed from the earth for the prophetic clock to begin ticking again so that Daniel’s prophesied 70th week can be completed?
