I’ve been thinking of this phrase, ‘those that remain’, when Jesus comes for the church during the rapture, and it seems an odd choice of words; maybe it’s just the translation? To me, if you remain, that means something has to happen for a lot of people to die, therefore having a remainder of people left to take during rapture. I wonder if there will be a big natural event that wipes out many before He comes for us? Is this also why there are believers of mid tribulation rapture? What are your thoughts?

I was just wondering, do you suppose the Cherubim guards that were posted at the entrance to the Garden of Eden remain posted today? After the expulsion Eden is never really mentioned again and I was just wondering if any remnants of it would still be around today in this physical world, if so, it seems the Cherubim should be there too. I know scripture is silent on it though.

I have a question. Zechariah 6: 12-13 says that The “Branch” or The “Messiah” will build the temple again. How does this work because during the tribulation the anti-Christ will sit in the temple and cause the abomination of desolation? If The Lord is already here then how does this work?

I would like to hear your view on our Lord’s words in Matthew 16: 18 – 19 where He gives His Church the “keys to the Kingdom” saying “whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven” and “whatever we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven”. What exactly was Jesus promising here?. I have encountered various different opinions/teachings for this passage. While I now agree with your view on the Church becoming weaker towards the end, I have been taught the opposite, that because of promises like this, His Church will move in victory, be overcomers and represent “His light” in the darkness during these last days.

I would like to know if God’s favor, protection and blessing is only present in a person’s life when he/she is living according to His will. Or are these present for everyone who is saved, even though they are living outside of His will or in sin?

Re: “Where are the spirits of the Newtown children?” What is the “consequence of sin” you refer to? Is it the consequence of suffering eternal separation from God? Many do not know anything about God or the Bible well into adult life these days. Are they accountable?

Today I see that the U.S. and Europe are entering into a nuclear arms agreement with Iran. It looks to me as though the U.S. is becoming a great deal less sovereign and influential not to mention moving away from it’s alliance to Israel. I find this shocking although I know I should not be surprised. With Israel becoming more isolated with the exception of it’s unusual new alliance with Saudi Arabia, do you think that God is allowing this to happen because He is now going to begin to deal with Israel in the very near future? If so, how do we as believers pray for Israel? Also, how do we pray for our own government leaders in a situation like this?
