Is The 70th Week Half Over?
Published: October 19, 2013I have just read your article on the sequence of end time events, which I agree with wholeheartedly. However, a friend of mine in the US, who has a remarkable grip on scriptures and the Bible, says that Daniel’s 70th week started with Christ’s ministry, ending half way through the ‘week’ when Jesus was hung on the cross. In her opinion there are only 3 1/2 years left of Daniel’s 70th week prophecy and that will be the Great Tribulation. Her numbers and dates seem to add up but my own knowledge is not enough to refute her opinion. What do you say?
Ezekiel 25 And Psalm 83
Published: October 18, 2013Thank you for your wonderful and educational website. I have just finished reading Ezekiel 25 and found that it bears remarkable resemblance to Psalm 83 ie the coming war between Israel and her closest neighbors. Do these chapters support each other?
Receive The Mark And Still Be Saved?
Published: October 18, 2013I’ve recently read where a well-known preacher believes that people who take the Mark of the Beast during the Tribulation can still be saved. I get the impression that this preacher may think that worshiping the Beast, not taking the mark, is what damns people during the Tribulation. Doesn’t Revelation 20:4 contradict this? Aren’t these people eternally damned after they take the mark?
The 144,000 Of Rev. 14
Published: October 16, 2013Re: the 144,000 of Rev. 7 and 14. Your writing on this subject has caused me to dig deeper – with much interest. [I greatly appreciate your work.]
Question: In Rev 14:4 it reads “…were not defiled by women – for they were virgins …” You state that “this 144K is a sampling of the redeemed, brought to heaven in the rapture”. Are you suggesting that there will be a few groups around the throne? [Some defiled by women …? Some pretty ordinary sinners redeemed by the Precious Blood? And some elders?]
Generations And Lifespans
Published: October 15, 2013The rebirth of Israel in 1948 was a significant prophetic event. According to scripture the generation that witnesses this event will see the end times. The question becomes what is a generation? According to a few pastors I have spoken with when the Bible refers to a generation it usually is a period of 70 years. Whether or not a generation is literally 70 years, or it is a longer period, how much longer could it be?
What Happened To People Who Died Before The Cross?
Published: October 15, 2013First I would like to say that your bible studies have helped me and my family’s understanding of the bible tremendously and I would like to say thank you! My questions are: What happened to people who died before Jesus came to save us? Who went to heaven and who went to hell? What happens to people who die who haven’t heard about Jesus? Some friends of mine asked me these questions and I didn’t have any answers for them.
Conditional Salvation?
Published: October 15, 2013My husband is convinced that you can lose your salvation. He believes we are initially saved by the blood of Jesus, but if we continue sinning once we know better, we will not go to heaven. Also, he believes that if we are caught sinning when Jesus returns, we will not go to Heaven.
I believe that that I will go to heaven because Jesus died for all of my sins; past, present, and future, and I have asked asked for His forgiveness. I believe he was God’s son, died on the cross, and was resurrected and because of this, he paid the price for me. I am very concerned about my husband’s views, and that he is teaching them to others, including our daughter. Please help me with this.
How Many Were Raised From The Dead? Follow Up
Published: October 14, 2013Re: How Many Were Raised From The Dead? I noticed that you didn’t include the dead who came out of their graves when Jesus died (Matthew 27:52-53) in your answer to this question. What about them? Did they go back to the grave?
Were There Cavemen Before Adam?
Published: October 14, 2013Please explain about the caveman. Were they on earth before Adam was created? Or did they come along afterward?
The Day We Die
Published: October 12, 2013I have a troubling question, I truly believe in God our Lord in Heaven! God is the only one, the one who is supposed decide when and how a person should die. With all of the terrible things going on these days, how does God’s plan for our deaths fit into what we will be facing in the times ahead?
