Children Of The Rapture

Published: October 14, 2014 (Originally published: October 14, 2014)
Q

You have said that all children who die below the age of accountability go to heaven. Will all the children below the age of accountability who are present on earth at the time of Rapture be leaving along with adult believers irrespective of their parents belief or religion? If it is so, then won’t there be any children left on this earth for the Tribulation? And how shall God take them without the consent of their parents, since they may be of different religions other than Christian?

Are Our Children Raptured With Us?

Published: April 18, 2006 (Originally published: April 18, 2006)
Q

I have been a born again Christian for over 20 years. I have always believed in the rapture, and my studies lead me to a pre-tribulation view. While I hope everyday that it could happen “today’! I have two children ages 5 and 9 that I assume would be raptured along with us. Is there a scripture to support this view?

Why Save Children Who Would Grow Up To Reject Him?

Published: May 18, 2022 (Originally published: May 1, 2013)
Q

I know you said that you believe all Children under the age of accountability will go in the Rapture, but is it not possible that God, who knows when we are still in the womb whether or not we will accept or reject his gift of salvation through Jesus, would take the children that he knows would have accepted, and leave the ones he knows were going to grow up to reject Jesus, to take all children it would seem very likely that he would be taking children that were going to grow to reject Christ.

What About The Pre-Born?

Q

First, thank you so much for taking time to answer questions. I look forward to reading the question and answer emails I receive from Grace thru Faith. I was just reading a question concerning children saved at the Rapture. It brought to mind another question. What will happen to children in the womb of an unsaved mother at the time of the Rapture?

Will All Children Be Raptured?

Published: March 23, 2009 (Originally published: March 22, 2009)
Q

Please consider I Corinthians 7:14 in your discussion of this topic. It seems to indicate here that children belonging to unbelievers are unclean. Children who have a believing parent seem to have a different status than children who don’t. I realize that our salvation is based on what Jesus did, not on what our parents do and that each person is responsible for their own decision to serve or not serve God.

However in a discussion of “innocent” children before the age of accountability, I have this question: Are they saved from the wrath to come, the tribulation? In the Old Testament judgment came upon “unclean” nations and the children were not saved from destruction. (I think they were not judged and sent to hell upon death, but it doesn’t look like God saved them from judgment upon the earth)

I have been a children’s pastor for over twenty years and have worked diligently to bring young ones to the Lord, not knowing when the age of accountability might be for each of them. I can believe that the innocent will not see eternal judgment upon death, but I think that is a separate issue from the issue of being in the rapture. I have always believed that the innocent children of believing parents would go in the rapture, but that the children of unbelievers would probably have to go thru the tribulation. Any thoughts?

Children In The Rapture

I’m sure you’ve been asked this question before and I hope this doesn’t sound stupid, but I’m wondering what do you think happens with unborn babies at the time of the rapture if their mother is not a believer? Obviously if the pregnant mother is a believer she will be taken in the rapture anyway. My understanding is that all children under the age of accountability will be taken in the rapture regardless of their parent’s beliefs…is that correct?

Will Our Children Go With Us?

I would like to know your take on what happens to the young children or babies of believing parents, the parents I would presume will go in the Rapture with all of us who believe Jesus is the Son of God and Savior, will the young children go into New Jerusalem with the rest of us? And will they retain their young age?

After reading of recent horrific crimes committed by young children such as a ten-year-old boy brutally murdering a woman of ninety, I wonder if you think that the taking of the children in the rapture is based on God’s knowledge of who will become born again at a later time. Or could it be that the age of accountability could be at a much younger age for a child like that? In that case, maybe all of the children won’t be taken since God knows the future? Also, I remember a time when Paul was accosted by young children (don’t know how young) and he called a bear out of the woods to attack them. What is your understanding of this?

Are All Children Saved?

Thanks again for a great site. Common sense tells us that all children and those unable to make a decision for Christ due to mental capacity would be taken in the Rapture, but is there anything in the scripture to back this up?
