Since John was exiled to Patmos, how did the letters to the seven Churches get distributed? While we’re at it, how did the book of Revelation get dispersed and enter the cannon of scriptures? I thought being exiled meant that there was nobody around.
I have a question on the purifying of the land described in Ezekiel 39. It says that the whole nation engages in disposing of the bodies of the invaders for seven months. After seven months, squads of people are specially employed to dispose of any remains that are found. When a bone is found, a marker is placed by it and the burying is done by specialists. One explanation I’ve heard is that the common man avoids touching the bone so he can remain ritually pure. My question is: Does this level of ritual purity exist in Israel today?
Great site you have. I have a question? Where in the bible does it refer to Israel and the generation which sees it become a state again being the generation to see the end times. In Matthew (Olivet Disclosure) I don’t see a connection with Israel becoming a nation again.
In many of your articles I have seen you speak of a “Christian World View” and how few Christians hold such a view. Could you please define it for us? I feel that it is looking at the world through the Bible and it’s prophecies, looking at what is happening in the world news and relating it to prophecy and living in anticipation of what Jesus said would happen in the end times in which we are living. Am I close?
According to 2 Samuel 12:18-23 When David’s baby son died, he didn’t mourn but went back to his normal routine. When asked about it he said, “I will go to him but he will not return to me.” He meant he would see his son in heaven. Why don’t abortion providers use this to claim they’re actually saving most of the babies they abort from growing up and going to Hell by sending them straight to Heaven?
How does the Preterist justify Jesus’ Transfiguration ( His going UP into Heaven ) to really be His 2nd. Coming ( Jesus coming DOWN from Heaven ) ? And secondly, I know a Pretierst who believes this and therefore he must also believe he is living now in the Millenium. That just makes no sense ! How can a born-again Christian believe these things?
In the column of Feb. 4th entitled “Three Questions of Matt.24” in the section “I’ve Got a Secret” you say that the church and Israel are two different entities with two different destinies. The NT tells us that through Christ, Jews and Gentiles become one new man. So, what are the two different destinies? Thank you for this clarification.
There seems to be a huge move of the Spirit in the world with many souls coming to Christ. People in South America, Asia, Africa, Muslim nations etc. This doesn’t seem to be happening in the U.S. as it is in these nations. I have looked on the internet and found many of our well known religious leaders prophesying that in 2015 a great outpouring will take place here. At the same time their prophesying seems tainted with, that the U.S. will regain it’s prominence in the world and a new political freedom will emerge. That part of their prophesying doesn’t add up with the political climate that has emerged in the last 20 years or so. Do you have any wisdom on the future of the U.S. in light of what these people say they are hearing from God?
How come the battle of Gog and Magog in Rev. 20 is not mentioned as any of the major prophetic events in the road map to eternity. Whenever we hear the battle of Gog Magog it usually pertains to EZE 38 and 39. I would appreciate if you can please shed some light into why the Bible describes the battle in Rev 20 with the same name of the battle in Ezekiel.
