Taking The Mark

Published: October 7, 2009 (Originally published: October 7, 2009)
Q

You mentioned that the believing remnant of Israel will flee to the mountains (Petra) as a hiding place to escape the Great Tribulation, but what about the Jews who remain in Israel? Will they be subject to the mark of the Beast?

More On Leaving Our Bodies Behind

Published: October 7, 2009 (Originally published: October 7, 2009)
Q

Why do you think our earthly bodies will be raptured? What would we do with them in heaven? Doesn’t the Bible speak of a mass delusion that God sends to keep those left on earth from realizing what has happened? (2Thess. 2) Could it be that our souls will be raptured making Matt. 24 (about the vultures) have to do with our bodies?

Generation or Race?

Published: October 8, 2009 (Originally published: October 8, 2009)
Q

Thank you for your faithfulness in teaching the Word. Question: Could “genea” of Matt. 24:34 mean “race, or stock of people”instead of “people alive at a certain time period”? I’d certainly rather it mean the latter, as our time would surely be short before we meet Him in the air! However, I’m aware that others, C. I. Scofield included, interpreted “genea” to mean the former.

Post-Rapture Sin?

Published: September 24, 2009 (Originally published: September 24, 2009)
Q

Thank you for your web-site. I have learned so much in the recent weeks that I have been made aware of what you have written and studied.

My question is – once we have been raptured and have come back with Jesus during the millennium, and then we are in eternity, what will keep us from falling away from the Lord as Lucifer did or as men will during the millennium when Satan gathers his army from people who knew no temptation or had any influence of unbelievers?

Describing The 2nd Coming

Published: September 25, 2009 (Originally published: September 25, 2009)
Q

Could you please explain Matt. 24:28? I was once taught that the carcasses were the spiritually dead (non-born again believers) that the vultures come after. However, knowing now that Mt. 24 has nothing to do with the Church and everything to do with the Jews, I was wondering if perhaps it is referring to Jehovah coming to the aid of Israel during the tribulation.

Changing The times And The Law

Published: September 26, 2009 (Originally published: September 26, 2009)
Q

I had a thought the other day, in Daniel 7, verse 25 specifically, it talks about the Anti Christ thinking to change the times and the law. Is this saying he is trying to change the calendar? and international laws? I find this interesting since all this hype about the mayan calendar ending in 2012, and it appears that we are heading to a one world government, just something I have been thinking about, but I want to clarify what Daniel is saying exactly. Thanks so much!

Making Covenants

Published: September 26, 2009 (Originally published: September 26, 2009)
Q

Wondering what your thoughts are on the subject of Christians making covenants? An increasing number of bible studies and christian groups are asking participants to sign covenants agreeing to whatever is required by the course, or to certain obligations within the group. I feel uncomfortable being asked to do so. Wondering if you have addressed this subject in your writings? Thanks!

Understanding John 20:22-23

Published: September 4, 2013 (Originally published: September 26, 2009)
Q

What does John 20:22-23 mean? “If you forgive men’s sins they are forgiven them and if you hold them bound they are held bound?” The Catholic Church takes this to validate the confessional and forgiveness of sins by the priest. Your insight is appreciated.

The Rapture. Open To Interpretation?

Published: November 6, 2010 (Originally published: November 5, 2010)
Q

Thank you so much for your insight, as I look forward to your e-mails every day. I am sincerely hoping for a pre-trib rapture, as I am sure that all of us are. Currently, I am reading an e-book that strongly supports the post-trib rapture, with many scriptural citations and inferences backing up this theory. This author presents a stong case for his position, as you do with the pre-trib assertion. Honestly, I am completely confused and don’t know what to anticipate, other than being in a “ready” status at any time. I sincerely wish that this wasn’t such a mystery, and was not an issue that is so open to interpretation. Is the Bible meant to be so ambiguous, so that we are not sure of the day and time of His coming?

Are We All Watchmen?

Published: November 2, 2014 (Originally published: November 6, 2010)
Q

I read your website often. It’s a blessing to me. I was reading Ezekiel the other day and paused at chapter 33 verse 8. Did warning sinners only apply to that time, or does it still apply to the present day? And what exactly does God mean when He says if you never warned a sinner to change their way and they die unsaved, their blood is on your hands?
