One Time Event Or Ongoing Process?
Published: April 30, 2025Thanks for such a wonderful opportunity to ask Bible-based questions. I so appreciate it!
I have a friend who says salvation is based on “steps.” When I questioned her further, she said that means accepting Christ as her Savior, getting baptized, and being obedient.
This is obviously against the Scriptures which clearly teaches trusting Christ as your Savior is the only way to Salvation. How can I best present this to her besides the usual John 3:16 or Ephesians 2:8,9 because she seems to know all the basic Scriptures, studies God’s Word daily, yet can’t see the light!
Explaining Hyper Grace
Published: April 30, 2025Can you explain hyper-grace to me? And is it scriptural?
Written In The Dust
Published: April 29, 2025Could you tell me in your opinion or maybe backed up by bible verses, what do you think Jesus wrote on the ground with his finger in John Chapter 8? Thank you.
Cheap Grace Or Free Grace?
Published: April 29, 2025I am disturbed by a pastor who is always attacking those who teach OSAS and salvation by Grace alone. I am sure you have met many like him in your days of ministry. He keeps on referring to this as cheap grace and of course as expected, he rubbishes this. What do you say about this thing he calls cheap Grace? Is it okay to refer to what we believe this way?
Asking Sincerely
Published: April 29, 2025In some of your replies you say a person must ask sincerely for salvation. How can people not be sincere when they ask for salvation?
OSAS And Falling Away
Published: April 28, 2025I agree with you on the OSAS but my question is on the scripture that states that many will fall away from the faith. What does that exactly mean?
Is The Parable Of The Talents About Us?
Published: April 28, 2025I understand that we are saved by Grace through faith, but the servant who received the one talent was sent to a place of ‘weeping and gnashing of teeth’ because he as I understand it, did nothing with the gifts and talents god has given him. I am a born again spirit filled believer, but if at the end of my life I haven’t actually put the gifts God has given me to good use for his kingdom, is this saying that God wont accept me in heaven? I am confused because it also says there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. As you can see I am very confused as to what this scripture is actually talking about, Please help!!
Doubting My Salvation
Published: April 28, 2025I am a born again believer. I know in my heart whom I belong to. My problem is my husband and I drink. I feel God wants me to quit. I hate my sin. I have begged God to take this away. I have even heard that a lot of people who accept Jesus as their savior, that their bad habits just go away. Why won’t God take this away from me? I also battle whether I am a truly saved since I repeatedly continue to drink. If I am completely still, I know who I belong to, but I just don’t understand this battle.
Help! My Relationship Does Not Honor The Lord
Published: April 25, 2025I am saved and love the Lord and want so badly to honor him but I am in a relationship that does not honor the Lord. Many times, way too many to count I have tried to end the relationship. And I confess the sin desiring to make my relationship right with God. I hate that I am caught up in this relationship and my life is truly miserable because of it. I haven’t been able to free myself from it and I feel like a total failure before the Lord. I hate what my life has become; the sin entanglement is sucking the life out of me. Why can’t I muster the courage to end it once and for all? What hope do I have? I don’t want to pretend I will go to Heaven when from scripture it appears I am bound for Hell and I am sure many would agree that is where I will end up. I want the truth even if the truth is this ungodly relationship is sending me to Hell. What a failure and disappointment I must be to the Lord. I am not asking for a stamp of approval for my behavior( I know it is sin) but please help me sort through the misery I find myself in.
Everyone Will Bow, Without Exception
Published: April 25, 2025It is written in Philippians 2:9-11 that every knee shall bow at the name of Jesus, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. In reference to those in heaven, does this mean that the archangels Michael and Gabriel will also bow at the name of Jesus and confess Him as Lord, or is this just referring to the saints in heaven?
