Can Satan bless a sinner? I hear sinners say, “I thank God for blessing me.” I just don’t understand how this could be true.

Regarding your comments on the two witnesses and that Elijah returned as John the Baptist. This sounds like Elijah was reincarnated through John, and I do not think that is or was the case? Would a better interpretation be that John came with the spirit and boldness of Elijah, but was not Elijah reincarnate?

How can we reconcile the idea that people are chosen by God and have no ability to choose God with the idea of eternal punishment for not choosing God? Put another way, how can unbelievers be punished for something they are incapable of believing? Wouldn’t this be like destroying a robot designed to make cars because it has failed to bake you some cookies?

I am a Christian mom in my mid fifties and my daughter is 19. She asked me to watch a video called “Zeitgeist” (spirit of the times) and it compared the Zodiac signs and symbols with the Christian religion. (The narrator) showed how other civilizations had myths that were similar in their story line to the story of Jesus. He implied that we copied the story of Jesus and his death and resurrection from the pagan myths that came before Him. Your website has encouraged me over the past 5 months. You have helped me see things in a realistic view and now the End Times scriptures have come alive for me. Please help.

My question is about the churches. What exactly does the church or churches in the Bible really mean? Is it a building, country, or as I hope I am reading right, our prayers and fellowship with Christ? My neighbor who is also a Christian of many years asked me the same question yesterday. We all study the scriptures at home.

It is clear that the battle of Ezekiel 38-39 and the battle of Armageddon are two separate battles. I also believe that the battle of Ezk 38-39 could occur either shortly before the rapture, or shortly after the rapture. But there are very vocal people who claim these two battles to be the same event. Do you think this could be setting the world up to accept the Antichrist?

I want to be obedient, and not to quarrel among other believers. But so many other believers are falling short, in my opinion, in that they are of the Emergent Church, LDS, JW, or Mary worshipping. My question is, how am I to deal with these people, when they claim that Jesus is their savior? And, is it the “right” Jesus even? How can I walk or fellowship with them?

Some say spiritual gifts were only for the apostolic era. Others say they continue in our time. Does the Bible say when the expression of spiritual gifts will cease?

I came across a webpage last week which states if you suffer from certain ailments, you can pray to God using the psalms and the illnesses would heal. For example if you suffer from bad luck, you should pray the fourth psalm. If you have poor sight in your left eye, recital of the sixth psalm should cure it. I have even come across books which teach similar things, but they also say you should use candles anointed with oil. Isn’t this wrong? Shouldn’t you just pray to Jesus and have faith that He will heal whatever ailments you suffer from? Using candles and the psalms isn’t necessary, is it?
