Pre-Conditions For The Rapture?
Published: January 20, 2015If there were other prophecies that needed fulfilling in this generation before the Rapture could happen why did Paul expect Jesus to come back in his generation?
Can A Person Walk Away From God?
Published: January 20, 2015I am going through the book of Mark on your web site. You say in chapter 3 that anyone who is a believer can never blaspheme the Holy Spirit. I understand that but, What if that person decides in his heart that he no longer is a believer and turns away and becomes a agnostic or atheist. Is he ever able to turn back to Christ?
Taking The Chip
Published: January 20, 2015Now that national health care has been forced upon us in the US, I see the verichip following close behind, as an excuse to keep all of our medical information supposedly accessible through it. I see this as the mark of the beast, and will refuse it even if it costs me my life. What are your views on the “chip”?
Preparing For Marriage
Published: January 18, 2015My girlfriend and I have been praying and talking with God about marriage and have been following His guidance throughout our relationship. I wanted to ask if you had any recommendations on some resources (books, sites, etc.) we could look into about preparing for marriage as a couple seeking Christ. We both realize that is a very large step for our spiritual lives and each other. Naturally, neither of us having been married before we realize that we don’t have any experience or insight about marriage and know that rather than just building upon a good foundation, we have the opportunity to allow God to build a great one. Thanks so much!
Understanding Ephesians 4:11-12
Published: January 18, 2015The Apostle Paul speaks about the gifts that Christ has given the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and the teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build the church, the body of Christ. My first question is where the operation (job description) of these gifts are defined in the Bible because I want to know how a certain gift is expected to operate? Secondly, why in these days do we specifically hear only about Pastors and other gifts are seemingly disregarded as compared to pastoring?
God’s Laws Or Man’s?
Published: January 18, 2015Along the topic of whether homosexuals should be allowed to get married or not, I was wondering what your take on the matter was. Since I know that you always back up your answers with Biblical truth I value your insight. My Christian friends and I debate this because even though I am a Christian and do not agree with homosexuals and their lifestyles, I don’t believe that we as Christians, heterosexuals, or humans whether it be in the private or government sector have the right to tell them they cannot get married. We can pray for them to find Jesus and if they search, teach them why homosexuality is a huge disgrace to God. However, the way I see it is that God gave us all free will to choose sin if that is what we want to choose. So how can we take the free will, of two consenting adults who want to get married, away from them? Doesn’t this go against God’s “free will” plan for every human?
The Holy Spirit, Now And Then
Published: January 18, 2015When we get to heaven , will we still have the Holy Spirit indwelling us?
Another Rapture?
Published: January 18, 2015I was reading an article on (another) website, where the author stated that she believes that the virgins in Matthew 25 refer not to the “bride”, but to her “companions”. She states that the Bride will be called during the day, while her companions will be called at midnight, or halfway through the night. In other words, she is saying that there will be another Rapture which will occur at mid point of the Tribulation. What are your thoughts on this?
OSAS And The Mark Of The Beast
Published: January 18, 2015Regarding the question and answer “OSAS And Being Forced To Recant”, does that apply to those who would accept the mark of the beast under duress?
My Husband Hates Religion
Published: January 18, 2015I am married to a man who, although he believes in Jesus, cannot stand anything to do with organized religion, including even the idea of Church because of the problems that it has caused in the world. He frequently says “All in the name of religion”. How can I help him to separate our God from the hatred, war, hypocrisy, money grubbing nature of organized religion today? And I guess really, I ask for me too, since I agree with him. I guess in a way I worry that if we do decide to have kids that there may be some issues in how to raise them. I want my kids to have all the exposure to Jesus and Christianity that I had.
