What About Turkey?

Published: August 6, 2013
Q

I have enjoyed reading your articles for many years now…I have a question on this week’s article–you did not mention Turkey in the respective ‘groups’ and I was wondering what part, or which group they may end up being with, in these confederations.

Levels In Hell?

Published: August 2, 2013
Q

In your article entitled “Saved From The Worst But Kept From The Best” you said, “I have no problem with there being a certain amount of inequality in the Kingdom.” I heard one Bible teacher say, “if you believe there are levels in Heaven, you have to consider that there are levels in Hell.” My question is, do you believe in this rationale?

More On Tribulation Martyrs

Q

I have a question concerning the answer from the question regarding tribulation saints. Since the Tribulation Saints will appear in heaven before the Great Tribulation, does this mean there will be no more tribulation believers martyred during the Great Tribulation? Or, if there are, when will they be resurrected and where will they go? Will they also appear in heaven at the end of that period or go into the millennium?

Shouldn’t There Be Signs That She’s Saved?

Published: July 30, 2013
Q

Our oldest daughter, 9, has inquired about baptism several times lately. Since she was/is raised in church and attends a private, Christian school, she believes that Jesus died to pay for our sins, was resurrected and now is in Heaven with God. To me, that sounds like she is saved. What I don’t understand is how she can continue to lie without remorse, disobey her mother and me and show zero signs that the Holy Spirit resides in her. I know that we’re saved based on what we believe rather than how we behave, but shouldn’t there be any “signs” that she’s saved?

Still More On God’s Wrath

Published: July 30, 2013
Q

You recently said that “The Book of Revelation clearly states that God’s wrath begins in Rev. 6 with the Seal Judgments.” I assume you are referring to Rev. 6:17. But this verse does not say “Thus says the Lord.” Rather, it says that men make this statement, not God, nor Jesus, nor an angel. How then can this be absolutely stated as the beginning of God’s wrath? Rev. 11 seems to indicate that “your wrath came” when the 7th Angel blew his trumpet. Also Rev. 16 states that the wrath of God are the seven bowl judgments associated with the 7th trumpet. Can you give some clarification on this? Also, you have done an incredible job bringing great Bible teaching to the web. I am very appreciative of your efforts.

The Early Church And The Rapture

Published: July 29, 2013
Q

We are studying Revelation in the home study at my house, and I know I am going to butt heads with the leader over the Rapture. He is convinced of a “mid trib” Rapture, because he doesn’t believe we would be taken out of the world to escape persecution, which is all he sees in the first half, not the wrath of God.

He has also cited that tired “fact” that no church father ever taught or believed in a rapture. I know there is not a huge amount written about it, but I do know there are some who believed it. Would you give an example please?

The Peace Treaty And The 10 Kings

Published: July 28, 2013
Q

I know that the peace agreement of Daniel, between Israel and “the many” will be made or confirmed by the antichrist. So of course I’m watching anything that smacks of a peace agreement, knowing that it will be a false peace. However, I thought that the 10 Kings would rise first. My husband thinks that the peace agreement may come first with the 10 Kings rising afterwards. Since this person would be known to have made “peace” with Israel, this makes him even more known in the group of 10 Kings. What do you see or think in this scenario?

There Is No Seven Year Tribulation. Follow Up

Published: July 26, 2013
Q

Re: There Is No Seven Year Tribulation. In this article you claim the notion of a seven year tribulation is unbiblical. I am going to disagree and the Word conveys that it will be for seven years. I am preterist and believe it happened from 66Ad-73AD.

Ezekiel 39:9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:

Spiritually Bankrupt

Q

I would like your opinion on Rev 3: 15-16. “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. If we are lukewarm Christians, looks like we can loose our salvation. Is this correct?

The First Tribulation Martyrs

Published: July 26, 2013
Q

I have been wondering about the statement in Revelation 6:9 for long time. In this verse John said, “I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God…”.

What got to me is, John only mentioned “the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God” and he did not see the souls of other believers who had died due to old age, sickness or killed by accidents, etc. And too, how about the souls of people like Noah, Abraham, Job, David, Samuel, etc. etc. Aren’t they supposed to be under the altar as well?
