Who Are These People?
Published: May 24, 2010In studying Revelation 21 & 22, I am perplexed by the verses that talk about the nations living on the New Earth and why they need the leaves of the tree of life for healing. Who are these people and where did they come from? Do they have glorified bodies also?
A Matter Of Time
Published: May 23, 2010I been studying the Bible and have two questions. First of all how long a man can physically live. In Genesis 6:3 the Lord said, “My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years.” Is that where God set a specific time frame for man?
My second question is, is time in the old testament portrayed the same way as it is now? Ex. Adam lived 930 years, Seth lived 913 years, and so forth, and so the “decline” of mans life span began. But the Bible also says this, in 2nd peter 3:8 “But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.” Now I know that that is taken out of context but do you believe that when God speaks of say 913 years for Seth it was a different measurement of time?
All In The Family, Follow Up
Published: May 22, 2010When did it become unlawful to marry family members? There must have been some point in time where ‘all in the family’ relations were declared to be against God’s law, when it was understood to be a sin. Is there some place in the Bible where this is noted, or was it within the scope of the adultery commandment?
Where Do The Prophecies Of False Religions Come From?
Published: May 21, 2010Speaking of New Age writers you said, “They say one day soon all believers will be taken off the planet so this next and final phase of human evolution can take place” I believe that prophecy comes from God, knowing the end from the beginning, no one else has this knowledge in themselves. Therefore I’m puzzled by where other religions get there prophecy from. Can it be over heard in the throne room of God by fallen Angels, twisted by them and then given to men?
What About The Pre-Born?
Published: May 21, 2010First, thank you so much for taking time to answer questions. I look forward to reading the question and answer emails I receive from Grace thru Faith. I was just reading a question concerning children saved at the Rapture. It brought to mind another question. What will happen to children in the womb of an unsaved mother at the time of the Rapture?
Three Battles Or One?
Published: May 20, 2010Thank you for all the work you do. I was thinking about the war of Ezekiel 38 and its relation to Isaiah 17 and Psalm 83. Is it possible for these 3 wars to be three stages of the same war? It has bothered me for a while now. It seems like these may indicate 1 big war with 3 battles or stages to it. If so the time required could be quite condensed, and fit into the next year or two very nicely.
Average Life Spans
Published: May 19, 2010You said the End Times began when the nation Israel reappeared in 1948, and they will be over before the people being born at the time have all died. The phrase ” have all died ” leads me to my questions. My dad is 88 years old. Well beyond the 70-80 years Psalm 90. Many these days live into their 90’s even some centurions. Does this factor into the big picture of the second coming ?
Judging Angels
Published: May 18, 2010In 1 Corinthians Paul said that we shall judge the angels. Can you tell me should we judge the Archangels like Lucifer or should we judge the Cherubim or Seraphim or what type of angel will we judge and why?
Will People See Us Go?
Published: May 16, 2010When we are Raptured do you think people will see us rise to meet Jesus in the air? The disciples saw Jesus rise when he ascended in to Heaven. Do you think it would be the same for us?
Use The Truth To Expose The Lie
Published: May 16, 2010In Titus 1:12, Paul quotes the philosopher Epimenides in saying “All Cretins are liars”. But isn’t this quote referred to as the “Liars Paradox?”, that is, if Epimenides, a Cretin, is correct, then he is a liar because the statement is true. If Epimenides is wrong, then he is a liar because then all Cretins are not liars which is the opposite of what he said. So, when Paul said, “This statement is true”, was he making a play on the paradox, on Epimenides, or was he just making the simple observation that all Cretins are liars?
